New Year Post

First of all, Happy 2022!
Here's hoping it's gonna be a better year than the last one or the one before that.
Now let's get on topic. Midnight Paradise.
Last month I posted about the coder situation and how it looked like it's getting resolved and we'll have someone on the team for the regular updates.
It didn't work out. So we're back to searching with Risael. It sucks, but it is what it is.
It's hard to find a person who is experienced enough, is not already on a team, wants to be on a team, reliable and of course willing to work on an NSFW project.
But I'm sure we'll find someone soon. Until then, I'll create some more content.
(If for some reason we can't find anyone in the near future, which is unlikely, we have a plan B, so we'll keep going)
I guess I should be writing something about the year's goals and how we'll achieve big things this year and so on. I don't want to do that this time. I made plans and have goals in mind but those plans are good where they are - in my head. I guess one thing I can say for sure is I'll try to be more consistent.
Aside from the upcoming 0.15 update 0.16 and 0.17 is already planned out, so my work is laid out before me and I can continue the content creation part until we get the coding situation under control.
I'll keep you guys updated.
And as always, thank you for your support!
-Dr Sin

Olá amigos tudo bom, a minha pergunta vai para o criador do jogo, chupar pau colocar o dedo na buceta não é crime é pecado ,ou crime fazer sexo fala sério.

2022-01-14 15:11:43 +0000 UTCI used to be a $40 patron monthly (to get Elite ver ) but since the last MP releases and nothing but DOD-DE related news, I was unhappy with how much I was paying so I switched to $1 ( just to received updates ). It wasn't until DOD-DE came out, I switch back to $40 to get the Elite ver and after that month ends, I'm back to $1 monthly. It's a shame cause Lewlab was my 2nd adult games patron (after Tora Productions, I been with them for 3 years now ). I been with Lewlab for 2 years before finding 9 more adult game patrons this past year (Bear In The Night is 1 year atm and my 3rd adult game patron). I'll say 5 along with ( Bear In the Night ) has already surpassed Lewlab for me

2022-01-12 16:17:37 +0000 UTCI agree. I am only worth $10, but if enough people get your attention with the same thought, maybe you will be pushed to do what we are paying for. I am out. My constant funds to you, over the years is helping you fail. No mas. All should agree until you provide the service you charge for.
2022-01-11 18:46:53 +0000 UTCTwo things have been constant, Excuses every month and us paying every month for absolutely nothing. Speaking for myself, I pay to play the game, not for an excuse a month. Maybe the creator should shut it down until he gets his act together and give us supporters what we have been paying for and not getting

2022-01-07 01:58:22 +0000 UTCHi all. I understand Mr. Kaiser's issues and points. Had my basement remodeled two years ago, pre pandemic. Fellow doing the work had already remodeled my kitchen, and dinning room. half bath. Outstanding work. (Think other games here to date.)Thought he would be a natural for the basement remodel. (15.0, new tech, different approach, keeping viable) Well, three weeks into it, plumbing and electrical done, things stopped. Changed from workers everyday, till one day a week. Many apologies, excuses, and not much activity. I remained patient based on previous three jobs. Then, after waiting five weeks, my man returned, and finished all in 16 days. It was, perfect, new floors, walls, ceilings, bath and kitchen. Just perfect. Patience paid off. What was the problem? He said he couldn't get workers to stay, show up, or hire. Everyone was real busy. Finally, he looked beyond his usual labor pool, tried some new folks, and....all is well. I suspect same problem here. It is hard to find, train, keep, and grow. We are all patient, and know February will be a winner. All the best.
2022-01-07 01:15:13 +0000 UTCI'm not as much a big patron as you guys, but infortunately I really feel the same. I enjoy Doc's and Risael's work because it's great work but I can't say I've been satisfied with the productivity these last months. On one hand, I feel bad for Doc because these things that happen IRL can really be annoying and break a dynamic but on the other hand I feel like he's not communicating that much. I support other creators that update their patrons every week, just giving news and how he's feeling about his work. But here, we only see one post in a month, two if we're lucky. To me giving news to the patrons is part of the job and gives us the opportunity to really understand what's going on. For example telling us that he won't share his goals for the new year, even if it's about the games he develops is a mistake, because this is clearly an opportunity for us to see where he goes and that he's not a scam at all. I hope the best for him and for every patrons cause we all want the same thing. But I'm personnaly looking forward to more regular news.
2022-01-04 21:58:58 +0000 UTCThat is strong but I need to say it is correct, but I hope all gets ok soon because I am certain that is not only KENNETH but many others thinking the same.
2022-01-04 14:27:56 +0000 UTCI completely agree! These delays and excuses have gotten ridiculous! I’m personally a $40 a month supporter, but this will be my last month supporting this developer. One, maybe two updates a year is not going to cut it! I’ve seen other developers stop taking money when their projects were delayed, or life got in the way. Why hasn’t Doc done the same? I truly appreciate his work, it’s outstanding, but I won’t continue paying for nothing.

2022-01-04 00:20:44 +0000 UTCLook, you read what I wrote and said I'm not wrong, and besides being straight out and honest about how he's not fulfilling his end of the deal, I also said I understand and that I'm not leaving and I'm not stopping my support. But it's time now for him to step up and as my Dad used to say "shit or get off the pot" . Step up or step down, you can't play the in the middle of the road. Someone needed to say something because no one has yet.

2022-01-03 23:09:57 +0000 UTCI mean, you're not wrong. But, at the same time, at least he's communicating, which is what the majority of consumers want from game developers. As patrons, we certainly have the ability to just stop giving content creators money, if we don't feel like they're worth it. I have done this myself with more than one game developer on Patreon (Won't name names, just saying). Hopefully, they find a reliable programmer relatively soon. I'd almost volunteer to do the work, as it's what I do for a living already, though my skillset is more object-oriented than script-based, and I'm not sure I could devote the necessary time to the project. Anyway, thanks for the update, Dr. Sin! I'll stick with you a while longer, hoping you get these issues worked out.
2022-01-03 22:56:54 +0000 UTCI want to say thanks for the update, that's first. Second, thanks and Happy New Year to you also. Third (this is where things go South), I, and I don't know if I'm the only one or if others feel the same, but I don't want to speak for anyone else, just me. I understand that life happens and real life takes front seat over games and other frivolous activities. I truly get it because I own my own business and sometimes things happen. But, when your business is taking money from people for a service and you are not providing that service in any consistent manner and you come around with a new reason every time, they are starting to sound like excuses and not reasons., for not providing the service that people are paying you to do. I know that the $15.00 a month is nothing, I spend that or more at lunch every day. It's not the money, it's the waiting for month anfter month to only get a message with you apologizing and maybe a couple images. It's getting real old, Doc. We are keeping our promises by paying you every month but you haven't been doing the same for us. You are taking but not giving.. It's not professional, it's not polite, it is starting to feel like a scam. I know it isn't a scam but it has that same feeling and I don't like feeling like I've been taken advantage of. That's how it's starting to feel. Maybe everyone else is okay with it and then again maybe people just don't have the balls to speak up either. Do your job, bro. Do whatever it takes to fulfill your side of the deal in a timely manner. Be a professional, don't make yourself look like a joke. You are hurting yourself and your reputation. Think outside your own head. Take a few minutes and pretend you are one of your supporters paying $20.00 a month to this guy and he's doing what you are doing, to you. How would you feel about him and the situation and his excuses every month for broken promises every month but he keeps taking your and everyone else's money every month but gives you nothing but a message saying just wait a little longer. It sounds to me like some crack heads I knew just before they ended up living under a bridge in a box. I don't know. I don't know what to think anymore. I know one thing, it won't matter if I stop paying because I'm only one person and it's only $15.00 a month you won't even notice it gone. That's why I'm gonna stick around and keep paying so that you know there is at least one person you need to prove yourself to. To know that at least one person actually expects something for his money and maybe you'll think about my Avatar of that clown shaming you before you start writing more excuses. Take a good look at that clown, Doc. Look at the way he's looking at you. This clown has been my Avatar for almost 20 years and he makes me feel bad about myself sometimes. Don't let that clown, clown you.
