hello CRC remote members,

club president Jaime here, thank you again for expressing interest in a members-only newsletter.

the intention of this podcast is to answer the increasing number of letters, emails, DMS, and even calls we’ve received from remote members investigating serious, often dangerous, conspiracies.

(actually some of you just send fan mail which i don’t have time to answer but we honestly really appreciate. i think Katya puts some of the nicest ones on her bedroom bulletin board, but i can’t say for sure, because every time i’ve asked about it she’s immediately had to ‘do homework’ or ‘finish a quest’ or ‘take a nap.’)

i used to answer these messages individually, and then eventually i asked Luna and Katya to help too. however the steadily increasing rate of these letters has convinced me that we’re currently facing what i’d call an epidemic of ‘conspiratorial paranormalities.’  (or, in more laymen-friendly terms, ‘weirdness.’)

in my experience, every town already has what i would call its own ‘local conspiracies’ ranging from cold murder cases to suspiciously lucrative fraternal lodges. these are unique situations that must be investigated individually.

however some phenomena, like seal people, ‘birds,’ and even the Suits do seem to pop up in multiple areas all around the world...and we’re hearing about them more and more often.

since that’s the case, i decided it might be best to start publishing my answers publicly in the form of this podcast. my hope is that any remote member investigating a conspiracy can listen in and get some valuable advice that might pertain to their unique situation. that’s the goal anyway.

honestly this has been a long time coming, as i actually received my first letter before i even founded the CRC, back in Poppy Valley v1. prior to starting the club and recruiting Luna and Katya, i was still investigating the time loops on my own and trying to figure out what was happening to Poppy Valley.

during one loop i accidentally got some publicity after i exposed a gaming organization that was harvesting brainwaves. the next day i received an email from a girl in the city, who’d seen my story in the newspaper and wanted to know if i could give her advice. she described a complicated situation involving a five-second clip of a strange-looking man being played on television every hour, on the hour.

i really wanted to help her...but i wasn’t able to reply before the time loop reset. i waited several loops to see if she would contact me again, but she never did.

i never found out what happened to her.

maybe i’ll share her letter on a special episode of the podcast. i don’t have the original letter of course but i do have it memorized so that should work.
