experimenting with fire effects

I've been avoiding working on this shot for a long time, since I thought it would be complex. But I actually figured out an easier way to get it done.

I'm using a flicking red light in Blender to simulate the flame, and simply adding a video of a real candle flame later in After Effects. I am really proud of the result so far!

If I had tried to make a 3D flame simulation in Blender instead, it would've taken all day and probably wouldn't look as good!

gray hair vs brown hair

After I released some test renders, I saw some people confused about John's age. He is supposed to be 35-37 in my story, so I've started considering changing his hair from the gray to brown.

What do you guys think?

I actually rendered something

Today I started the process of rendering, its insane to actually finally see these scenes coming to life.

I added some temporary sound effects just to give you an idea of the scene.

I have received the final color prototype for the Chub Chub blind box! This has been something I've been working hard on for the last 6 months, really excited to see it starting to come together!

I never made a collectable before so this whole experience has taught me a lot.
