2025-04-26 23:35:11 +0000 UTCSorry for all the comments haha, but if the engine has trouble rendering all the voxels in a chunk to have a full filled underworld could you make it so the world is still empty but when a player mines instead of taking from the world it instead would add blocks and remove the struck layers giving the illusion of a full world. Unless filling the world is possible and you just haven’t gotten there yet

They won't be super huge in size. Worlds won't be infinite or super huge. A bit bigger than the current size. On release it won't have multiplayer it's just too much work

I have some questions beyond that you don’t need to answer but I’d like to include some insight in my next video, will there be more world underground in the future similar to Minecraft mining? Or are you limited by the performance of voxels, will the worlds be “infinite” (not literally but big enough you’ll never reach it) on release will it ship with player hosted multiplayer or server reliant like MC, unless it is intended to be a single player game. Multiplayer is a huge selling point for a game like this all my friends are interested in getting it on steam if it supports multiplayer. I don’t want to bombard you with questions I know developing a game is a lot of work respond only with what your comfortable with, thank you!
