Lay of the Land 0.4.0 The Building Update

Hey everyone. Its finally here. The Building Update. Finally. This was a huge update and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I cant wait to see what you all build so please do post your builds in the discord. Thank you all for the support :)

You will need to create a new world.

Changelog

Gameplay:

• Can now Pickup/Place Voxel Props (e.g Barrels, Tables, etc)

• Can Pickup/Place Useables (e.g Chests)

• Weapons now have a Critical Hit System. The third swing in a row will deal more damage/mine a larger area.

• Player can now sleep in beds to set their spawn and skip the night

• Can now collect and place vegetation (grass, flowers etc)

• Ai now turn faster if loud noise or damaged

How to Install

• Download the 4 files attached on this post

• Place the 4 downloaded files into the folder where you want to install the game.

• Double click LayOfTheLand_0.4.0_Installer.bat (if a Windows Defender Smart Screen window pops up, just click "More info" and then "Run anyway". If you're worried, you can see the code of the bat file by right clicking it and clicking edit to open it in notepad. The bat file is just extracting the zip files for you)

• Wait for the installer to finish

• Open the LayOfTheLand_0.4.0 folder

• Double click LayOfTheLand.exe
