Press Your Luck 27

Later in the evening, as Valerie tried to sleep she heard a familiar muffled giggling coming from Danny and Lucy's room. "At least someone's having fun." She giggled to herself as she rolled over in bed. She still despised Harlow for the way he treated her and her friends growing up, but it was getting easier to like Lucy. If it wasn't for her rampant cheating she would be happy to welcome her as a sister. "That'll have to, like, be dealt with eventually." She sighed. She knew the longer things went on the more it might hurt Danny, but following Harlow's chrysalis thus far had given her a lot of first hand experience she wouldn't otherwise have gotten. Not to mention the extra credit she needed lately.

A few minutes later, just as she was drifting off to sleep she heard Lucy moan, "Oh fuck!"
"Well that's one chip for the jar." She giggled and tried to pretend she hadn't heard anything.
Another moment passed and she heard, "Daniel! Harder! Harder!"
"Oh come on!" Valerie growled, wrapping her blanket around her head.
"Fuck!" Danny joined in the gleeful shouting.
"Oh God!" Lucy cried out.
"Oh shut up!" Valerie buried her head under her pillow. As awkward as it was listening to her brother and friend/girlfriend have sex…it just reminded her of how much she needed to get laid.

The following weekend, Harlow had worn a bright red dress sheath dress with a deep v-neck to show off his new TnA, telling Daniel that Val insisted she wear it for his secret. Calling it hiding in plain sight. Of course Val and Harlow knew the truth, even though he still claimed to be disgusted by men…knowing they wanted him turned him on in a way he didn’t want to deal with anytime soon, if ever. But definitely not tonight. Tonight he was home!
Harlow followed Daniel through the casino floor, his large breasts jiggling with each mincing step he took to keep up with his friend, the sound of his heels unheard with all the background noise he loved. Happily he looked around, Daniel able to see the smile on his girlfriends face as the glittering lights reflected off her eyes as she looked out to the floor with the spinning wheels, and shuffling of cards. He was home! “Ooh!” Harlow cheered, “Let’s play blackjack!”
“Not really my thing.”
“Roulette?”
“Nah.”
“Then what?”
“I’m gonna hit the slots.”
“Oh my god, those take, like, no skill at all!”
“Yeah, but they’re fun.”
“You know they’re totally rigged, right?” Daniel shrugged, “Come on, you said you were taking me out to have fun.” Harlow didn’t notice the pout of his lips or the whine of his voice for the pleading bounce that shook his new heavy breasts.
“I am.” Daniel smiled and handed Harlow two-hundred dollars, “Why don’t you take this and play whatever you want for a half hour, then you come find me at the slots and we’ll find something we can both play together for the rest of the night, okay?”
Harlow pouted as he took the money. He shouldn’t care how Daniel spent his time, this wasn’t a real date after all, but after this last week he found himself missing just spending time with Daniel. “A whole half hour?”
“Just thirty minutes.”
“Okay. Don’t, like, come crying to me when you’ve lost all your money in ten minutes begging for my winnings.” Harlow giggled.
“I’ll do my best.” Daniel kissed Harlow on her lips, smiling as he saw the blush it brought to Lucy’s cheek. “I love you.” He said softly.
Harlow grinned, pausing only briefly before he replied, “I love you too.”

After changing their cash into chips the couple split up, Daniel going to the slots while Harlow hunted a blackjack table. In the first ten minutes Harlow had turned his two-hundred dollars into two thousand. Another ten minutes and Harlow had turned that into five-thousand. Seeing dollar bills and freedom in his eyes Harlow pressed on, betting more and more with each hand.

Twenty-five minutes had passed since he split from Lucy and Danny hovered around seventy-five dollars of his original two-hundred for the last ten when Lucy approached his side. “Hey, pretty lady.” he smiled, hoping to cheer up the obviously sad Lucy.
“Hi. Um…do you have any money I can borrow?”
“Did you lose your two-hundred?” Lucy nodded glumly, “I’m sorry, baby.” He looked at his watch, their separate play time was nearly up, “C’mere.” He pulled Lucy into his lap. Easily enough given her small frame and she allowed him to do so. Harlow gave an involuntary giggle as he was lifted so easily and gave a kiss to Daniel’s cheek without a thought as he was sat down in his lap, like many times before.“I’m almost finished here, you wanna play the next couple of pulls?” He asked gently, wrapping his arm around her flat stomach and resting his chin on her shoulder.
“I told you these aren’t fun.”
“That’s just cause you don’t know how to play them.”
Lucy twisted to look at him, her pillowy pouty lips so close to his own, “What’s to know? You like, pull the lever and lose.”
Danny chuckled, “No see, there’s more to it than that. Watch.” Danny pushed a button and pulled the lever. After a few seconds of spinning ten dollars in chips fell out. “See.” Lucy rolled her eyes. “C’mon, you try.” He said as he fed the new chips into the machine. “What should we bet?” He asked her.
Lucy shrugged, “Go big or go home.”
Danny chuckled, “Alright.” he pressed a red button, “Now just pull the lever.”
She reached for the lever for a moment before dropping her hand and shaking her head, “This is stupid. I, like, already know how to play slots, Daniel. It’s boring.”
“Come on, one pull and then we’ll find something else to do.” She groaned in protest as Danny took her hand and placed it on the lever. Both pulled the lever and watched as the five digital wheels rolled behind the screen. The first wheel stopped on a big red seven. “Hey, that’s good.” Lucy rolled her eyes again, until the next two wheels landed on similarly red sevens. As the fourth seven appeared, they both stared at the wheel in anticipation. As the fifth and final seven fell into place a siren sounded and a red light flashed overhead.

For a brief moment the couple stared in stunned silence as the screen flashed “JACKPOT!” in big bold letters. They both laughed and cheered as the screen changed to a series of gold coins falling into a sack with a dollar sign, before flashing “$30,000” in gold script while a single glittering gold painted chip fell into the machine’s tray. After a moment two men approached the ecstatic couple. One Lucy recognized to be a pit boss. “It appears congratulations are in order.” The shorter man said with a charming smile while the second man reset the machine, shutting off the siren and flashing light.
Lucy giggled happily at the men as she clutched the gold chip in one hand and Danny in the other. “We won!” she cheered triumphantly.
"I see that." The man smiled as he watched the busty woman bouncing up and down with glee, before eying the lucky man to have the busty bimbo on his arm."If you'll follow me we will take you to the cashier and you can cash out or have that changed out for more chips."
"Absolutely." Lucy giggled excitedly, pulling Danny by his arm, "C'mon."

At the cashier, Harlow happily slapped the gold chip onto the counter, "Chips please!" She cheered.
"Babe,” Daniel said gently, “we should take the money. We still got a couple hundred we can play with tonight.”
Harlow blinked at Daniel, “We just won, thirty-thousand dollars, we gotta like, totally let that ride, ya know!”
“But…” he glanced cautiously at the two men, “we could put that towards your debt.”
“That sooo wouldn’t be enough to take care of everything.”
“No but it could make a good dent.”
“Or, now hear me out.” Harlow pursed his lips thinking what to say to Daniel to sway him to his way of thinking. Catching his reflection in some of the mirror glass, Harlow bent forward unintentionally putting his D cup chest on display as he checked his makeup.
“Babe?”
“Hmmm? Oh yeah, like we play some more and we can double our winnings and make an even bigger dent!” Harlow was still bent forward giving Danny a view that also pulled part of his attention away from the discussion.
“We do have a high roller’s area.” The pit boss added, seeing the opportunity.
“See.” He added, “And this is house money.” Harlow grabbed Daniel’s hands, “If we lose we’re no worse off than we were an hour ago!” He could see Daniel was still on the fence so he lowered his head as he pouted and looked up at the large man, “Please? You promised we’d find something we could do together.” Thinking of how Val made him beg for things, Harlow ran his long nailed fingers over Daniel’s chest, taking half a step forward till his hand was on his shoulder and his breasts were almost touching the man.
Daniel ran his hand through his hair, he always had a weakness for the puppy dog look, “Fine.”
Harlow giggled excitedly, bouncing in place, giving everyone nearby a pleasant view. He kissed Daniel firmly on the lips, giving him a large smile, happy he had gotten his way, before turning back to the cashier, “Like, Chips please!”

The couple were led to the VIP section of the casino upstairs, Danny’s eyes glued to Lucy’s rear as she moved ahead of him. If she wasn’t so excited about going to play more he would have gladly used some of the winnings to get a room for the night and show her how much he appreciated the way she looked in that dress when he unwrapped her like a present. They walked through two large wood and glass doors that once closed shut out the noise of the rest of the casino. The pit boss walked them through the VIP section, pointing out the various games and the minimum bets, through another set of stained glass doors Harlow saw a single poker table with five high rollers playing against one another.

“Enjoy the rest of your evening.” The pit boss said before leaving them at the entryway.
"So what should we play first?" Danny asked, placing a gentle hand on Lucy's shoulder.
"We should totally play craps!" She giggled excitedly bouncing from side to side with the energy of a toddler that just had a pixie stick.
"Are you sure?" Danny asked unsure, but he couldn’t hold back his grin with how happy and energetic Lucy bounced.
"Yeah! We can triple our money inside of ten minutes!"
"We could also lose it just as quickly."
Lucy pouted, "Please?!"
Danny rubbed his hand through his hair, “I guess it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot.” Between the pout and that pleading sexy voice he didn’t stand a shot of resisting the girl.
“Yay!” Lucy cheered, kissing Danny.

The couple found an empty spot big enough for at least Harlow to stand in the beginning. At a hundred dollars a bet, and free cocktails, it didn't take long for Harlow to lose three grand before space opened enough for Daniel to stand beside his girlfriend. He had hoped to convince her to leave when she was down five grand in the first hour, but she was too insistent.

"Craps is, like, a thinking man's game." Lucy slurred with a pout to her face. "You think you can do any better?!" He wanted to tell her no. That they should both just quit while they were still ahead, but her pout, and the way she clung to him as she passed chips to him. It wasn't smart, the human heart rarely was, but she needed his help, just like she had when they were kids and she tried to hide the fact that kids at school were beating him up. When Danny managed to stop it just by making a sudden appearance, Harlow lied, at first, and said he had it handled. Only later did he admit that he appreciated his friend's help with the first and only hug he had given Danny until they started dating.
He sighed, “Alright…I’ll make one bet, if we lose can we leave?”
Harlow pouted, he was down a few bucks sure but he was having fun and besides, he would be on top again soon enough. “Ten bets.”
“Five.” Daniel frowned.
“Six.”
“Three.”
“Four.”
“Fine, four bets for four kisses” Daniel raised his eyebrow as he looked at his vixen. Daring the blonde beauty to back down.
“Totally a deal!” Daniel shrugged and took the stack of chips. He hadn't expected Lucy to take the deal, but looking as she did he considered it a win.
With each pass made the minimum bet, and by the fourth bet rolled around he had managed to recover three grand thanks to his good luck charm. “That was fun.” Daniel smiled, “Alright, let’s go cash out.”
“What? We can’t cash out.”
“We agreed, four bets. That was four.”
“No,” Harlow shook his head, his gold emerald stud earrings against his red hair looking like a hyperactive stoplight. “We said if you lost four. You haven’t lost any yet.”
Daniel sighed, “C’mon, that’s semantics.” Daniel stopped and stared at his pouting friend, “Nevermind. Besides, that’s just beginner’s luck.”
“Exactly, like, you’re totally hot!”
Danny blushed, running his hand through his hair, “Flattery will get you nowhere.” he chuckled.
Lucy giggled, “Shut up. You know what I mean. C’mon!” she wrapped her arms around Danny’s waist. “C’mon, Baby,” she cooed, “the fun’s just getting started. Don’t you wanna see how far we can go?”
“O-okay.” Danny cleared his throat and placed another bet down.
“Hey, Baby,” A scrawny, bearded, man standing next to Danny said sarcastically as he nudged him with his elbow, “You’re up.”
“Huh.” Danny looked at the half dozen dice and paused in confusion. Up until now he had just been randomly placing chips wherever Lucy had. He hadn’t been paying attention to the fact that over time three different people had been the ones to throw the dice.

Harlow rolled his eyes as he explained the game to Daniel quickly, “Pick two you like.” Daniel grabbed the two closest to him and watched as the others were raked away.
“Just roll the dice, Baby.” Daniel flung the dice across the table. Landing on 7. Harlow giggled loudly, "You won four hundred dollars!"
"I did?" Daniel smiled as he watched his hundred dollar bet become four hundred. "Cool!"
"Totally! Just don't, like roll it again."
"As long as I got my lucky charm by my side I’m sure I can do it, Lucky Lucy." He laughed, pulling Harlow to him in a passionate kiss.

For a moment, as he stood beside Daniel, he thought of his dad, but because his dad had always called Harlow his lucky charm. His dad had a weekly rotating poker game every Saturday night. The nights it was at their house his dad would always invite him to sit in on the game. Every time he did he would always win big. Some of his dad’s friends would try to bribe Harlow to come stand by them so they could hopefully win, but his dad would always put a protective arm around Harlow, “No way in hell are you taking my lucky charm from me.” He’d laugh and kiss Harlow on the head.
One year Harlow had been simply passing through the living room during the superbowl when one team scored a major touchdown. His dad cheered and shot up out of his chair and picked Harlow up, shouting in victory. Harlow had no idea what happened but afterwards he got a pizza so he didn’t care, the next few years until he passed, Harlow spent the superbowl standing by the television. The game was boring as hell, but he loved the pizza he and his dad would get afterwards.

Danny rolled for the next hour, placing bets here and there each time winning him fifteen grand himself. Danny had finally released Lucy when she told him she needed the bathroom. Afterwards she had stopped off at the buffet and started to feel herself sobering up. When she returned Danny dropped to his knees and dragged her to him by her waist, “You need to stay right here.” He laughed.
“What happened?” When she had left he had been up fifty thousand dollars and rolling. Now the dice had moved on to someone else.
“My good luck charm went away.” He pouted.
“Are you drunk?” Danny shrugged, with a worried look on her face she gave him a small hug and rubbed his back, “Maybe I should take you home.”
“Ms.Lucy, are you trying to seduce me?”
Lucy rolled her eyes, “Come on.”
“I already made a bet.”
“Alright. What’d you bet on?”
“Snake eyes!” The dealer called out to the pained groans of other gamblers. Except for Danny.
“Lucky Lucy!”
“What?”
“I knew you were a lucky charm!” Danny cheered as stacks and stacks of chips were piled on Danny’s 30 to 1 bet.
“You bet two the hard way?!” Lucy shouted, half astonished, half excited, half drunk herself.
Danny just stared at her confused and looked at the table, “Oh…I meant to put it on the field.”
“You-forget it.” She shook her head, turning to face the dealer, “How much did he win?”
“He bet five thousand dollars so he won a hundred and fifty-thousand dollars.”
“We should go.” Danny said, finally standing back up remembering why it was he had kept betting when he started to lose. With that and what he still had everything could be paid off easily. Sure he'd be at zero again, but he was used to that. At least this way…Lucy wouldn't have to be scared anymore.

“G-go?!” Harlow stared at the mountain of chips in front of them.
Daniel nodded, “Can I have a to-go box or something?” He asked the dealer, carefully burping into his hand.
“Certainly, sir.” The dealer raked the chips away, quickly changing out the large pile of small, colorful, chips, for ones Harlow had never seen before. “Those as well?” There were eighteen in total. Each one of them looked like a thin gold bar and each had been stamped with 10K in the center.
“Thank you.” Daniel said, quickly taking the chips and passing them to Harlow.
“Where are you going?” He asked when he noticed Daniel made an immediate right out of the high roller area rather than the left he should have made.
“Bathroom, dumpster, river. I don’t know.” He grabbed his stomach, and ran as fast as he could.

Harlow considered following for a moment, but he could still hear the muffled sounds of victory coming from the high roller tables. Harlow only owed a little over a hundred grand…that meant six of these were free money. He had sixty grand he was free to play with. He could double that before Danny got back…he could pay Danny back for letting him hide there and pretending they were a couple then find a doctor to get rid of these tits and start over somewhere new and still drink enough to forever repress everything that happened for the last few months.
