Born of elder forbidden magic, a ritual used to take place only for high-born demons indulge it. The result of this ritual would result in transforming the user to an even-higher born state of living, a race that would feed off of living energy by draining blood. These demons came to be known as the Lilith race, and a most formidable foe to any enemy that would cross them. In these times they were known as succubi and incubi among other races.

The new race of demons now staking claim to be high-born, transformed into more powerful creatures the more energy they would absorb. The imbalance among demons now forced the lower-born demons to accept the Lilith race as their masters, relinquishing monstrosities like goblins, ogres and half-breeds at the lowest level, while low-born demons hung by a thread in the middle levels.

Over time, most of the now low-born demons became less intelligent and were forced out of the demon realm, while others began to seek safe haven in other parts across the land. Similar to how the demons are compatible with all types of blood, the same went for their genetic makeup allowing their DNA to merge in unique formations.

To the few races who accepted demons and offered them hospitality, low-borns produced offspring with numerous other races. This resulted in uncontrollable demonic half-breeds who could not control their emotions. Bring the once peaceful world to one of havoc and mayhem.

As time went on the Lilith race realized what was happening to the world and sought to destroy all half-breeds from the world. That is where a custom emerged for a Lilith to test their abilities on half-breed demons at their coming of age. The new introduction of blood from multiple races empowered the Lilith so strong that they would be able to maintain a state of immortality. This allowed the race to become stronger and more intelligent, merging features of other races with themselves. However it was of this custom that brought about the destruction of the race. Their distinguished feature that seperated their race from others was empathy. Just as the blood manipulated the features of the Lilith, it also manipulated their emotions.

Ascended into almost godlike beings, the Lilith fashioned two hearts with one heart for their body and another to power their magic which would drain blood from another. Already powerful, the blood merging resulted in a completely new race, finally separating the high-born demons from the low. The unique features now gifted from other races were an arrow shaped tail from the Feline race, dark tapered wings from the Harpy race , sharp vampire-like fangs from the canine race, horns symbolizing that of a crown of royalty from the Holstaurus race. And lastly emotion, from the humans.

The first to ascend became known as the royal family of Lilith, who would choose other high-borns to ascend and join them as a new being. The royal family were also the first of their kind to gain a deeper understanding of empathy, and would not allow others to hunt humans as no new features would appear from them. The same rule was placed for Elves, not because of their blood, but because they were the only race that kept an alliance with them.

Secretly, they showed their daughter care as the humans would. Other Lilith families accused the royal family of insolence among themselves when they expressed their knowledge of emotion, this would stir trouble in the future.

The time had come for the princess to go out into the world and learn skills of her own as the custom ordered. However in light of her parents teachings, the princess took a liking to a certain elf after spending much time gathering knowledge from their library.  Little did she know, this elf was an important high-born. Along the knowledge of emotion taught by her parents, this Lilith learnt of affection, a new emotion never practiced among demons. Feeling this new emotion, the princess decided not to drain the young elf, yet embrace him. This led to an unprecedented event of a half-breed child between the Elves and Lilith.

When the child had been born there was outrage among the Lilith, as the royals were the ones who placed a law against pregnancy. Soon the outrage spread to the lower levels of the demon realm causing a revolt among the classes of demons. This was a perfect chance for some of the Lilith families to overthrow the royal family and claim a seat even higher. Inevitably a war began between all demons, the princess sent word to the realm of Elves seeking assistance in the new revolt.

Although the princess was not very skilled at battle, she made up for it with magic. It was of this knowledge that would protect her child from harm, however such a strong spell would use her full power so it was left as a last resort.

The royal family fought exhaustively for 6 nights, and when all hope had seemed lost, the Elves arrived to assist the royal family with a group of forces. Their race always ruling above others, the Elves soon found out how naive they had been, as they had underestimated the magical prowess of the Lilith race.

In mere hours, numbers of elves had been defeated by the magic of the Lilith. They were manipulated with ease and were overcome with an explosive level of fear. The males stood no chance against the female Lilith and were drained completely of their life force in mere hours. This only aided the evil Lilith families with the regeneration of magic they needed. The female Lilith filled with power now matching that of the royal family, sought nothing more but to destroy them. The female Elves however were much more unlucky in their endeavors, the magic cast by male Lilith drove them insane with fear, so much that some willingly threw themselves off the cliffs down to the lower levels.

As the lower levels piled with bodies, the remaining elves had spotted the princess in the lower levels in her final stand to protect her child. However, manipulated by fear, the Elves blamed the princess as the reason for the bodies and did not help her.

Word soon reached the remaining forces of elves, the royal elf included. Despaired with the news of the demon princess, the elf prince ordered a retreat. It was then and there that begun the merciless discrimination of Demons among Elves.

The royal family now witnessing the retreat of the Elves, destroyed their morale. They assumed that the worst had befallen on their daughter, so the parents embraced one another and decided to cast a life-ending destruction spell passed down through their family and reduce the higher levels to ruins. The explosion destroyed everything in its path, annihilating all the Lilith to extinction...or so they thought.

Before witnessing the retreat of the elves, the princess too lost hope and cast a life-ending protection spell on her child, which survived the huge destruction spell. The protection spell nourished the child for 20 years in a long sleep, preventing any low-born demons from touching her.

It laid on the child's shoulders to restore the balance of the world and bring back her race to its former glory.

When the time comes and the shield disappears, the child is introduced to a new world and must find out why she is alone. Slowly she collects scriptures scattered around throughout Nemoda, and with the help of the trader, she learns how to speak and read. With this knowledge she can piece all the parts of the story together, strengthening her resolve to go out in the world and rebuild alliances with all races.
