Charging Notice and a Miniature Update

Oh hi again.

As mentioned in the last post a few days ago, if it's quite all right, I'll now set Patreon to work on charging your kind pledges.

As a little aside, in just 72 hours or since last writing, panic in the UK has gone up rather substantially about coronavirus. In the neck of the woods I've been visiting, items are conspicuously missing from supermarket shelves, and there is a certain...tension in the air. It feels a bit like watching a gas tanker to see if it's going to explode.

I've had quite a lot of time to follow the news and the WHO. If you're starting to get a bit concerned about all of this like lots of us are, please do keep in mind that while it looks quite scary at the moment, we're still at the point where the virus can be contained. My government, Italy, Germany, etc, are all taking fairly strident action now to do their best; they don't want to get poorly anymore than their population does. Not too sure about the US approach, but they seem to be taking it quite seriously now too, especially with the recent cases there in just the last few days.

Anyway, I hope you're well and keeping chill, all things considered.

Unrelatedly you will find the cover of a book I discovered recently with quite possibly the greatest title and thesis of any work published in the English language. I forget if I've posted it already. If so, please enjoy it a second time.
