(WIP) [ANIMATION] TTN_01, TTN_02 "Keyframe"

Whoops. It's the 30th.

Boy howdy am I frazzled. My sincerest apologies. I didn't realize how fast this month has blown by. It's been a bit of a mess. Not really actually, but it's felt like it. For reference, I have actually been working on the vote list. So like, numero uno was me finishing old stuff. And I have been working on that! It's just, like... not fun? I mean, it's a weird experience. It feels like reanimating a corpse or something. You know what though, I don't completely hate my old art, which is nice. There's a lot in it that I'm like, "Hey. Not bad." I also started up some other stuff, which ended up feeling like a waste of time, and then I got a bad case of the "Executive Overload."

I'm also, like moving, so that's fun. I've been working on that a lot. It's a good thing, but change is change in my mind. It's kinda hilarious, a fun personality trait. Any kind of change usually catapults me into a deep depression. Like, when this whole art thing really kicked off, and people were complimenting my artwork for the first time in my life, my body's response was to get all sad. Same deal here. I've been wanting to improve my living situation for years. It's always sucked in some way or another. I finally get to realize my dream of becoming a creepy isolated shut-in weirdo. What's my response? Get all depressed. Fucking bullshit.

Anyways, that's my month. Lotta stress, lotta change. A lotta little work on a lotta different things which has added up to no presentable progress. Except for this one!

So, the winner for that poll that wasn't telling me to finish shit, was Blackfire, Starfire, and Raven from Teenage Titans. Suggested by Fuzzy LittleBastard, KentuckyYucky, The Cunnilinguist, and Leandro Nakamura. I like, lumped all three characters together for the vote, so I'm gonna be doing all three. Here are the first two. I'm also working on the Raven Keyframe, I just don't have the pose nailed yet. I've been working on them in tandem, to try and make them as varied as possible. Because, as you can notice, hopefully, they all will have the same aspect ratio. Meaning, they can be slapped together into one video. Ah? See? I'm thinking ahead, now.

I watched the first episode where Blackfire is introduced, to like, remember what happens. All I remembered, was that there were pink squid things that scared me as a kid, and that Blackfire was a bitch. I watched it again, and to my surprise, hey. It wasn't bad. There was also a joke I really liked, Starfire was feeling all left out because her sister is cooler than her, so she asked Raven "Might you wish to 'Hang Out' with me? We could visit your favorite depressing cafe!" That caught me off guard and made me laugh pretty hard. Good shit. Also, I think Starfire is kinda fucking stupid. Like, she talked about how she distrusted cotton candy because she had earlier eaten cotton balls and didn't care for them. Who does that? Just pick shit up and eat it? Good lord. Oh yeah, and the space cops were super cool looking. They looked like Metroid enemies.

So yeah, these animations will be with those pink squid things. This will be my third foray into tentacles. I actually cracked open the tomb and will be using my first Metal Slug animation as reference. Their faces look terrible but I actually think the movement is surprisingly good, once you fix the framerate. I animated On-3's back then, at eight frames, but I actually messed with it and set it to be On-2's, and it looks pretty decent. I even thought about redoing their faces, but then thought that was a stupid idea. But, what I'll do, is animate these three Teen Titans gifs same kinda deal, eight frames, On-2's. I think it'll end up looking pretty good.

So yeah, there's this one, so far. I will be fixing and finishing old stuff, but I need to be prioritizing making new things. I'll be like, pretty poor soon, so I have to be cranking out brand new sparkly things to attract more wayward souls to this flock. Oh yeah, and once the Raven Keyframe is done, I'll be animating each of these all the way through, starting with Blackfire. I'll do least popular to most popular, that way it hypes up this whole set a bit more. Sorry about not posting lately, I'll be better about not getting bogged down. Stay tuned for more shit on this one.
