Notice: Taking a Break & Request Info
Added 2025-05-01 12:36:50 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize.
Last month saw a significant increase in first-time requests,
and on top of that, I experienced some health issues, which prevented me from completing all the requests.
As I’ve continued running this project, the workload has gradually increased, and I also began feeling pressure to keep improving the quality of my work. This disrupted the balance between work and rest, leading to severe lack of sleep and physical exhaustion. Eventually, both my creative work and daily life began to suffer.
Despite making multiple announcements and gathering feedback to revise the rules, I’ve been struggling to manage everything properly. At this point, things have gone beyond what I can handle alone, and I feel that if I keep pushing myself like this, it could lead to more serious consequences.
So, I believe it’s finally time for me to take a step back.
I’m currently considering several options:
Introducing the limitation for the number of "Heavy warith" tier through patreon's feature
I'm not sure how this feature will work. If I apply this feature,
The request can be exclusive for only few people.
Also, it will be hard for me to refuse once this feature is applied. So far I've never rejected fully, and I've just asked them to change the request if it is impossible to do.
I was considering this feature with deep considerationSimplifying the quality of requests (doodle style)
I've told to change to dooldle style but, I have having struggle with changing my drawing style & keeping the quality of reqeust drawing. So, I want to change the arts to doodle style for all requests for real. There won't be number limint for the number of pepople who can be Heavy warith tier But, HQ arts will be rare except for the Lardyrinth seriesFocusing on Lardyrinth or Requests
The number of requests has clearly grown, but this Patreon was originally created to focus on my original characters. That said, I know some of you support me mainly for the requests. So I’m wondering if it might be better to let go of one rather than try to juggle both—though that does feel like an extreme step.
These thoughts have been weighing on me for a while,
but I haven’t made any final decisions.
Often, I just pushed through thinking, “I’ll try harder.”
Maybe I’m just burnt out right now.
For the time being,
I'm planning to take a break from both Lardyrinth
and this month’s requests to focus on rest and recovery.
I’ll work on the remaining requests from last month as my health allows. I may also post some game fanart or doodles on Twitter.
As for what to do starting in June,
I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
I want to take your feedback into account moving forward.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me until now.

2025-05-15 14:23:58 +0000 UTCYou definitely deserve rest its very important I hope it's helps your help. To help with work/request i suggest maybe having limited slot and making a list for request keeping track of each person. For example when a person makes a request you mark then and then they have to wait until every one else gets one to request again. That way you can work a certain amount of request and have time to do personal stuff. Other suggestions is one month of just request and one month lardyrinth that way you won't get overwhelmed and have time for each thing. Hopefully these suggestions might help but I would be sad to see you stop making person stuff and just only do request it will negatively impact you plus your stories and characters are amazing i don't want them to go away. Take all the time you need to rest ❤️

2025-05-08 23:15:28 +0000 UTCThank you still for all your hard work. Id say limiting the number of openings. Maybe make commission page to limite the number of opening and make it all automated.

2025-05-02 02:27:25 +0000 UTCGet some good rest, first and formost! I'm new here, so I'm unsure what things normally look like for requests on a usual month.. But I'm sure some wouldnt mind a drop in how many you complete in a given time frame. Or maybe even spacing it out to be every two months? I'm unsure, but I hope you find one that fits you.

2025-05-02 01:43:59 +0000 UTCThat's what I was afraid of. Being a very generous person and not wanting to please everyone, you neglect yourself and stress a lot. You're going to have to take care of yourself. ^^'' Yes, limiting slots could help, but that would mean the same people getting the same slots. Perhaps removing this tier every month and reinstating it to give those who manage to get the next month's slot a chance, but no idea if that would work? Yes, I encourage you to go for doodle and try to discipline yourself not to change your style, thus reducing the effort and focusing on your projects, since you too can enjoy your own stuff. ^^ I would say focus on your projects, prioritizing requests, and perhaps opening slots for requests three times a year, limiting access. But it's up to you to decide, and I'm trying to help you by suggesting ideas based on what you yourself have mentioned. I hope this helps, and please take the time you need to rest. Have a good rest!

2025-05-02 00:31:45 +0000 UTCI would suggest limiting the Wraith tier and maybe consider opening limited commission occasionally? That way the people that can't join once the Wraith tier is full can get a chance at getting art from you. That said I hope you can rest this month!

2025-05-01 23:09:22 +0000 UTCI think limiting the total number of Requests again or trying to keep the doodles at a consistent level of quality would be a really great idea. Your stuff's fantastic, but there's definitely been a gradual increase in the amount of effort you've been able to put in particular doodles- Some of mine have been as simple as a lovely, lined sketch, and others have been full-coloured, and surprisingly detailed. I'm definitely not complaining about these things, but the amount of extra work involved really seems like quite a lot! I think a break is a great thing. And I hope I haven't contributed to your stress too much!

2025-05-01 14:49:12 +0000 UTCSeeing as your monthly workload is so high, I think it's fully justified for you to instead of new pledged every month, take two months instead. The second month you wont open new pledges and can use to work through the backlog at your own tempo, basically double the time you have to work on your drawings and half the amount of yearly submissions so you have some space to breathe.

2025-05-01 13:07:54 +0000 UTCWhile I'd like to upgrade and request some fat art, your health comes first. I'll request it next month, if you're still taking requests by then.
