Fuckin' holidays. Goddamn. Did you guys have a nice holiday season? I actually did, nobody died this time around.

Sorry, I've been pretty busy all month. As per usual, y'all won't be charged tomorrow. Here's a quick update, an animated background. Ain't it neat?? I just ripped the sprites from the game itself, layered them, animated them, the works. It was a pain in the ass, but I think it looks cool. It also felt nice to put some effort into a background for once instead of yoinking something from Google and hoping nobody sues me.

Pro tip with sprites or pixel artwork: If you want to scale it up in an art program, see if your Transform or Scale tool has the filter "Nearest Neighbor." That makes it so the pixels get preserved as pixels, and not some big fuzzy mess.

Anyways! Back to work. I'll get another WIP out soon. My mental state has been upgraded from "Bless this Mess" to "Minorly deranged," and I'm feeling good for once. Like a proper human being. I've kinda hated art all year, but now it's a lot of fun again.
