(WIP) [ANIMATION] SLG_03 "Keyframe" Sort Of Done

Ack. Very much lost track of time.

First off, I won't be charging in a few days, of course. Don't expect to pay a dime for a while, honestly. I'm easing myself back into all this, properly this time, and I'll only be charging you all once I'm completely comfortable with my work output. 

Here's like, one half of this keyframe. I'm gonna do what I did with the last Metal Slug animation and have them swapped. This version was easy enough to pose, but the other version with Fio getting, uh, crabbed, has been a real bitch to pose. 

Basically, this one is three layer groups. We've got the Crab BASE, where he's armless, staring down at his crab boner. Version 01 will be the Fio focus along with the crab's arms, and Version 02 is the Eri focus one you see above. It's not super complicated. One thing that will be nice is only having to animate the crab once, since he's pretty complicated, and then swapping between the two versions. Though, it'll be a fucking chore animating four separate anime girls. And, of course, giving them alternative faces and adding in crab spunk. But hey, I want this to be an experience. Crab smut is a very new and unexplored field, and this may just be the magnum opus of the crab smut world. What am I doing with my life?

One reason why this has taken a while is me fucking around with perspective. Perspective is cool as shit, and you can do some real wizardry with it. Since the crab is so, like, rigid? I really wanted his legs to be properly done. Hence the mess of perspective lines up there. There's a technique where you can mirror planes in perspective, which lets you get elements right where they need to be. It's super cool, I love perspective stuff. 

Also, I just want things to be the best I can make them. I'm really tired of producing half-assed work, even if it is crab smut. 

Anyways, that's that explanation. I'll make sure y'all aren't charged, and I'll update with the Version 01 Keyframe when I get it done. Then it's onto the Gesture.

Also, I see some of y'all have been DM'ing me. I'm sure I've got some on Twitter, too. I'll get around to replying, but right now, I want to isolate myself and really focus on making artwork. Once this is all done in its crabby glory, I'll go back to being the social butterfly I used to be. But for once this year, I want to focus on my artwork and do it right.
