A few sketches with time lapse videos

You'll no doubt notice I did these sketches at an unusually low resolution. If you've been around for a while, you might remember me mentioning a few times that I like to set limitations as a way to force good habits. And limiting the resolution has likely been the most successful example of that for me, so I wanted to try to push that limitation even further and see what happens.
I'll have more thoughts to share about this after I've turned one of these sketches into a full painting, but my impression so far is positive!

Drawing little details is fun and can be very tempting to do very early on, but it's generally a bad thing to draw them before the broader features of a painting are nailed down. It's easy to get attached to a detail that turned out well, and then resisting deleting it when it isn't working well for the picture as a whole. So, to avoid having that problem in the first place I sketch at a resolution so low that there just aren't enough pixels to draw those details. These extra low resolution sketches are my attempt at pushing that to its logical extreme and seeing what kind of effect that has. It doesn't have to be the end goal to sketch at a low resolution though. Once you do it for a while you can build a habit of not drawing those details early, even at higher resolutions.
