Illustration #133 and #134 + rewards!

Hey! I've got two paintings for you this time. :) Like you may have noticed, I usually finish one illustration at a time before doing the next. But I can often feel some fatigue towards the end of the process of a painting, so this past month I wanted to work on two illustrations in parallel. I want to reacquaint myself with how that feels and what effect that has, and see if it impacts the fatigue one way or another. It's probably too early to have a concrete opinion on it, but it felt prett...

14 thumbnail sketches with time lapse videos!

Just wanted to share these little thumbnail sketches I've done over the past few days. It's been a while since I've done greyscale sketches, and with how well the very low res sketches went recently I figured I'd try doing some of those in greyscale. All these felt very quick and easy to do, so while some are a bit messy I'm pretty happy with them! They serve their purpose. :)

Check out their time lapse videos in the attachments here if you're into that!

Illustration #132 + rewards and extra doodles!

Hey, everyone! Here's a new painting for you. :) Revisited the ancient egyptian inspired theme for this one, which I always enjoy. I wanted to show a priestess performing a blessing during a fertility ritual. I hope you like it!

A few sketches with time lapse videos

Just wanna drop a few recent sketches here alongside their time lapse videos. I hope you like them!

You'll no doubt notice I did these sketches at an unusually low resolution. If you've been around for a while, you might remember me mentioning a few times that I like to set limitations as a way to force good habits. And limiting the resolution has likely been the most successful example of that for me, so I wanted to try to push that limitation even further and see what happens.

Hey everyone! Here's a new painting for you, along with some extra stuff as usual. :)

I feel like it's been a little while since I've painted a close-up scene like this one, so it was about time! I hope you guys like it!

Illustration #130 + rewards, sketches and doodles

Thank you for all the birthday wishes on my post earlier this month, I appreciate it. 😄

For the illustration this time around I decided to revisit the trio from #99. The three of them were meant to be out doing herbalism field studies. Don't you hate it when you're assigned to a group who just wanna fuck around instead of being productive? Typical, right?😏

Birthday!

Each year I like to spend my birthday doing a little drawing for myself. Here what that turned into. That's all for today! I hope you like it. :)

Hey everyone, here's a new illustration and some bonus stuff! Felt inspired to make a scene with some purple elves again this time, so it turned out... very purple! I hope you all like it. :)

Illustration #128 + rewards and some doodles

Hey! I finally managed to finish this painting. It's been an interesting one to do! For both fun and not fun reasons. 😅

I went with the sort of ancient Egypt inspired theme for this, and that's been great. I really enjoy my time with that theme, so I'd love to do some more art using that soon! The warmth of scenes like this always feels very inviting to me, and that's a feeling I really always want my work to evoke. I hope you guys like that as much as I do. 😄

Sketches + time lapse videos and PSDs

Just wanted to quickly share a couple more sketches I've done recently. Wanted to do a couple warm scenes for these. I hope you like them! I'm currently working on the full painting for the top sketch. As usual I'm very careless with anatomy in my sketches, so please excuse the funky anatomy going on there, lmao. It's being fixed. 👍

I've attached the time lapse videos and layered PSD files for these sketches so you guys can check those out of you like.

Finally got this painting finished. 😄 I hope you find these creatures a little bit interesting. A little bit of lore I have behind them is that they're sort of a prototype species created through experimental conjuration or alteration magic. The people who created them disappeared ages ago, probably because of some experiments that went very wrong. So there isn't much known about them, but the species that resulted from their experiments all share signs of their creators being horny degene...

Sketches + time lapse videos!

Just wanted to share a couple of sketches and their accompanying time lapse videos here since it's been a little while since the last time I did that. Recently I've been finding inspiration in ideas I've had about these sort of alien looking characters, and trying to find an interesting balance between mysterious and hot, so I'm enjoying exploring that.

I feel like both of the sketches have a potential to be a fun painting, but today I'm slightly leaning towards wanting to see that seco...

Happy February everyone, I hope you're all doing great. :) I painted a goblin girl this time around, I hope you like her! This painting started out without a solid thumbnail sketch, so if you check out the process video you'll see the scene kinda morphed or gradually evolved throughout the process. I would normally say that's not ideal, but I'm pretty happy with where it landed in the end, and I got to do some small experiments and had some ideas about my workflow that way that I otherwise mi...

Happy new year! I hope your holidays were nice and relaxing. :) Here's the illustration I worked on in December to keep me in the holiday spirit! Santa's elves have been hard at work this Christmas. 😏I hope you guys got the presents without stains on them.

I've put all the rewards for this illustration in the attachments here, but you can also get them through these links:

Hey everyone! I painted some more water nymphs over the past few weeks, it's been fun. And it's a pose I've enjoyed painting too. 😄 These group scenes always end up being kind of a jigsaw puzzle to put together, but I think it came together pretty well. Out of my recent pieces this one's probably the one I've been happiest with. I hope you like it too!

I noticed there's no longer a 200 MB file size limit on attachments here, so I can finally add all the rewards in the attachments! Bu...

Illustration #122 + rewards, a sketch with time lapse video, a doodle, and a color experiment

Hey guys! Felt like painting some goo girls teasing our poor elf nerd. I hope you like it! It's always fun painting goo and how light interacts with it. And I'm pretty happy with the painterly style I landed on for this one, it felt comfortable to paint. 😄

A couple of recent sketches + time lapse videos

Just wanted to share these sketches and their time lapse videos.

The first sketch is sort of based on an idea for a roguelite game that I've been thinking about for a while. It would be a game where you collect valuable items, and after each run return those valuables to your demon mistress to impress her and get rewarded. I like roguelites a lot so it would have been a fun game to make. Still just toying with ideas like that though.
If you look at the video or PSD file for this one ...

Illustration #120

Hey, here's a new painting! :) Wanted to finally do a scene featuring the bath house owner lady I did some sketches of a while back. I like how her design turned out, and I'd like to make her more of a recurring character since I really enjoy the whole bath house setting. I hope you guys are into that too! She might want a more central role in the next painting she's in though. 😏

Thanks for all the nice birthday wishes last week! I really appreciate all of you, you're great. 😄

And hey, I did a bunch of art this month, here it is! I hope you like it!

I can only imagine demon girls have all sorts of unusual toys, so I wanted to paint her vigorously trying one out. She's having a good time! I bet he is too. 👀

Birthday!

It's my birthday! I've gotten into the habit of doing a drawing as a birthday gift to myself, and I found some time for it this year too, so here's this year's drawing. Thank you, me! I had fun drawing this one. I hope you guys like it too!

I've attached the time lapse video and PSD file here if you wanna check those out.

Have a great day, everyone!

Illustration #118 + a few doodles!

Finally finished this painting, I hope you like it. 😄 Meant to have this posted a couple of days ago, but May has unfortunately been a weird and busy month with a lot of non-art stuff occupying the ol' mindspace. Hopefully things calm down a bit over the next few weeks.

I hope you're all doing well! As I mentioned previously, this illustration would be pushed back a bit because of the extra time I spent practicing sketching last month, I hope that's been alright! :) I also hope you like this one that I chose to paint, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. And the process, even with some small problems, also felt pretty smooth!

Just a couple more demon sketches + time lapse videos

These might be the final two sketches for now, just so that I don't push the next fully finished painting too far ahead. I would like to try to get into the habit of doing these types of sketches more often than I have in the past, but we'll see.

Time lapse videos and PSD files are in the attachments for all my fellow process nerds. 🤓

One thing I've noticed while doing this approach to sketching is that I feel a little bit less in control of my shape language compared to when I...

Sketching more demons? You bet. + time lapse videos

Continuing the streak of sketches with these two today. A shocking absence of cum in either of these, I know. I'll probably make up for it later. I'm particularly happy with the demon warrior sketch here. It was extra fun since it's rare that I get to draw those types of monsters. 😄

Check out the time lapse videos and PSD files for these sketches in the attachments if you're into that!

Even more sketches + time lapse videos

I made two more sketches yesterday, so here you go! I've attached the time lapse videos and layered PSD files too, as well as the Blender file for the grid I use at the start of the videos if you need that (you'll need the equirectangular grid image too in the same folder as the .blend file).

In the past few sketches I experimented with sketching with bright values on a darker background instead of the opposite way around. If you watch the two time lapse videos for these two sketches yo...

Can you tell I'm in a mood for demon girls? 🤓 Here are two more sketches I did during last night's stream, and I'm attaching the time lapse videos here again, as well as the layered PSD files (I went back and added PSD files in yesterday's post as well if you're interested). I hope you like these!

Still feeling optimistic about this approach to sketching. And for a long time I've felt like sketching is where I need to improve most, so I might just continue doing more sketches for a b...

Demon sketches + time lapse videos

Just wanted to do a quick post here and share a couple of sketches I did during last night's livestream. I'm attaching the time lapse videos for each one too if you wanna check those out!

These are sort of a part of an ongoing experiment I'm doing where I'm avoiding the dark sketch outlines I've often had on sketches in the past. The goal is to see if that changes how easy it is for me to transition from sketch to painting. And the results so far make me optimistic. The values feel less...
