Doing these illustrations with lots of cum in them can sometimes turn out a bit more visually chaotic than I planned. When I make a version without cum and try to do a good composition for that version, adding a bunch of cum into it later can quickly mess with the readability of shapes if I'm not careful. And I wasn't careful enough about that here, but it turned out good enough I think. :)
In the video you'll actually see me add the cum pretty early on and try to stick with it through the process, but I did eventually decide that it was a mistake, so I painted it away later on before adding it back in at the end. Trying to keep it there made it difficult to paint the larger underlying shapes and anatomy. I guess that was a successful experiment in the sense that I sometimes need to remind myself of what doesn't work, lol.
I also spent a bit of time drawing some demon ladies. Some rare fan art from me here! The first one is Andariel from Diablo 2 and the second doodle is Red Vex and Blackjade from Diablo 1. Some creative liberties were taken in my interpretations of them, lol. Red Vex and Blackjade make me think of one of my favorite candies, Haribo gummy vampire bats. Yum.
When doing fan art like this I think it's extra fun to interpret characters in games where the characters are originally just a few pixels. If I do fan art of characters in games with high fidelity visuals I easily fall into the trap of feeling like I need to stick very close to the existing design, but when doing fan art of low fi characters that are just a few pixels it kinda forces you to have to come up with your own design a bit, and that's satisfying.
Anyway, I hope you like it! Thanks for supporting me through 2023 and into 2024, I'll do my best to have a bunch of cool art for you throughout this year. :)

Maybe you can make video of those doodles in next time. I would like to see how you did these 2 diablo's ladys, liked then. One thing is strange to me is the face of the girl in the main art. I love your render.

I've kind of grown a habit of referring to them as doodles as a way to help myself feel better about them not always being completed. It feels good to have low commitment side-projects like that. π

2024-01-10 16:10:52 +0000 UTCHoly cow, the "doodles" that you've provided for us look amazing, I feel like you'd be fully justified in considering them to be full works π»π»π»π»π» I absolutely love the art-style and rendering on both of them, with really beautifully done and painterly textures. The creepy bug/demon arms on Andariel look great, I particularly like the thick shine lines on them and the gradient from a mostly red colour, towards a darker brown at the talons. The character herself looks amazing with her rising, flowing and meandering flame-like hair, her incredibly expressive face and her gorgeous, sensual body. I really like the bright edge-lighting on her shoulders, arms and bum and thigh, adding further definition to these areas. The shapes of her facial features are so well done, I really like the details in her demon arms and hands and the rougher, more painterly textures of her calves. And damn, her breasts just look so luscious and juicy, especially with those large nipples and areolas and their shine π₯° Both characters in the other doodle look exquisite too. Again, the painterly textures are beautiful and I love the detail in the wings and the different blends between bright and dark colours. The hair looks lovely, especially with the brighter edge-lighting that makes it pop and I really like the subtle shine on the straps that frame their breasts. There's something about them having these straps and thigh-highs that makes them look way sexier than if they were just fully nude. The squish on the breasts is so well done and I just love the shine on the skin. Their anatomy looks incredible too, I particularly like the grey girl (I'm assuming that that one is Black Jade, I feel confident in that guess πΉ) with the muscles in her arm activating as she squeezes her breast, with the overlapping shapes of her butt cheeks looking super appealing. Oh and I just have re-iterate that in the Andariel "doodle", the anatomy here is insanely well done, all of the muscles and dimples and plane changes in her actual arms and the demon arms are insanely well done! Alright, now at last for the main painting. I figured I could spend longer on the doodles since the main painting is focussed on one character and quite zoomed in, so I should be quicker here... Let's see how I do! π The colours here are so vibrant! The skin tones on the girl are just so warm and appealing, really standing out against the white/blue background, as well as the green and white sheets below her and against her green friends. But there are also some wonderful colour interactions, like having her bright pink hair receive some cool lighting from above, giving it a lovely contrast. The way the blue lighting hits the orcs looks terrific as well, especially the standing one, where these large areas of blue lighting blend into the shadows, accentuating his shapes. And yes, because they're green, I'm just assuming they're orcs πΉ The pose for the girl looks great as well, with lots of things to add dynamism to her, despite her essentially sitting down. Things like how her head and torso are turned against the direction of her hips, with her arms and legs being in asymmetrical poses, lowered and raised on opposite sides. Of course, her long and flowing hair adds some lovely motion to her and the foreshortening on her body looks fantastic, especially on her raised calf as it advances towards the corner of the painting. I love her hands too, her lower hand looks great with the fingers moving in different directions and having their own foreshortening. While the other hand, wrapping around that orc's McNuggets, really accentuate their shapes. All of the goop adds to the dynamism too, particularly the big spurts that are currently in motion. And the more I look at this painting, the more I see all of these great colour and lighting interactions. Like the mix of pink and pale purple lighting hitting her left leg from both sides, or how similar colours affect her collar. I already mentioned her hair which looks extra terrific thanks to this. Her breasts too look absolutely gorgeous and vibrant with those pink lights affecting them. Likewise, the pink lighting affecting her left shoulder and hand are especially striking, set next to the very dark shadows there and against the green skin of the orc. The actual rendering of everything looks sensational, I love all of the depth and detail of her hair and the many, many overlapping strands as they flow about each other. The slightly rough texture of her collar is a nice bit of contrast to her smoother skin and I just love the way you painted the metallics too. Even the smaller buckle is detailed with pink lighting which is a great attention to detail. Her socks look so good with their rippling, dimpled textures and now that I'm actually paying attention to them, I'm seeing how they're being tinted by blue lighting on her raised leg, as well as warmer skin tones on the lower sock. The interactions between the girl and the orcs are so well done too. The way her mouth wraps around his genitals, with her cheeks, mouth and lips extending to towards it looks fantastic. Likewise, I like how the ding-dong that's emerging from her lower leg is actually pressing into the skin. Her own genital area looks amazing with the pinkish hues to the skin, as well as the shining texture and of course the way her booty wraps around the final orc Johnson. Last but definitely not least, her body and the textures of her skin are nothing short of breathtaking. As I said, the colours are so warm and vibrant, beautifully affected by the coloured lighting too. The textures of her skin are this perfect blend of incredibly smooth but still with your own painterly style, something I've always admired about your work πΈ And yes, there certainly is a LOT of goop, I was looking at the zero-goop version previously, to pick up on all of the detail. But the goop is of course, extremely well painted and adds even more volume to whatever it happens to be clinging too. Absolutely brilliant work on these paintings, Calm! ππππππππππππππππππππππππππ And clearly I was a fool to think I could more quickly comment on this painting, it had a lot more depth than my first look led me to believe π πΉ
