The new ones I added may be a little bit more polished in some ways than the other ones, but I ask that you don't let that distract you from seeing the potential in each sketch. :)
The change in sketching style in the two new sketches felt pretty good. In those I kinda just started blocking in colors right off the bat instead of doing the more structured approach of separating values and colors like I've done in the other ones. Blocking in colors is an approach that is a bit more intimidating to me since there are more things to mentally juggle. But when it works I like the results better.

2020-06-05 01:11:53 +0000 UTCI'm glad you think so, Mary! Ideally it shouldn't matter too much how pretty the thumbnail sketches are, since it's supposed to just be the idea that is presented. They can all reach the same level of polish in the end, right? But it is kind of expected that people go for what looks prettiest at the time, so you're right that they could draw fresh attention if they got an update, and it is something I think about. :) I've got a couple dozen older sketches too that could use an update. But I also have ideas for new concepts that could be even better, so it all kinda comes down to where I feel it's most beneficial to spend my time. I wish I had infinite time. 😅
