Bowsette!
Added 2018-09-25 17:11:00 +0000 UTCI pretty much never do fan art, but it's been funny seeing the whole internet having fun with Bowsette, and she's pretty cool, so I figured I'd contribute!
Note that you won't be charged for this one, and it doesn't have reward packs. But I've attached the layered PSD file here as a little bit of bonus content for you guys, so you can dig through it and see how it was made. :)
Also, interestingly, I managed to paint this one in a day and a half. I'm kinda shocked at how quickly and painlessly it came together, so, as you can probably imagine, I had a lot of fun drawing this! I hope you like it as much as I liked making it!

I often try to get that warm sunlit mood, but I rarely get it looking quite like I want it to. I feel like I got it where I wanted it in this one though! π

2018-09-25 17:59:36 +0000 UTCBloody hell! These colours! These colours are all so gorgeous and vibrant! πππ Before even looking at anything else, all I can do is blown away by these colours. The yellow hair and warm skin tones are each so lovely and radiant, they look especially fantastic set against the blue-green sky and then the greens among the environment. While the other contrasts are equally terrific, the blues of her eyes, ear-ring and dress jewel as well as her green panties really pop against the warm skin tones, while those same bright colours are given an extra bright and radiant glow against her black dress. Her arms for example, they really pop as they overlap the black, as do the bright tones of her breasts and shoulders. The overall style of this painting is utterly terrific too, I adore how painterly it all looks, the hard edges to define her swirling hair look amazing, while the folds in her dress are equally brilliant. The mix of hard edges and smoother rendering throughout the whole piece, mainly across her skin and anatomy are so well done and define her features marvellously. And I absolutely love the pose that you've put her in, with the way her hair billows out, curling, twisting and flowing, while her dress rises with it's edges meandering up and down all around her, this piece has a fantastic sense of fluidity and motion to it that I adore. As always, I love when you give a character a big, happy smile and combined with this pose, Bowsette here has a wonderfully playful and fun feel to her. Meanwhile, there's other brilliant little details that I adore, like the different sheens and textures of the metal spikes and the blue jewel, as well as how that same jewel actually causes the black material surrounding it to glow. Similarly the lighter grey that's swirling around her back, as well as her collar appear to be tinted a warm, skin-tone hue which I really like. The lighting in general is brilliant, like the bright light shining onto her shoulder and breasts, contrasting against the black to make that area as well as her face look incredibly striking. Sensational work on this piece, I would be more than happy to see you create more paintings in this beautiful, vibrant and fun style π (and truth be told, I don't even think I came close to going over everything that I like about this painting π)
