Hi there! Today I'm closing off this 1 month dev-cycle with a smaller and more mechanical focused update.

It features the Lust mechanic finally being fleshed out, and it will continue to be further developed. The higher this value is, interesting effects will begin to take hold in our heroine. Of note are the new traits that will shape Maya's erotic personality in various ways. Once acquired, you can view Maya's traits in the inventory screen, under the tab "Important/Core".

Livith has also been added. For now she's at the midway point of the initial forest stage (right after exiting the castle) with placeholder dialogue. I want to make her appear at least once per biome to hinder Maya in some way. In this particular case, she will trigger an enclosed combat area of sorts, where enemies are more aggressive and come in groups. I will expand upon this in the future updates and on the later stages, so this initial encounter at the start of the game had to be more on the easier end of the spectrum.

I've also reworked the stagger/stun effect on enemies: now they will display a unique effect over their heads when they are stunlocked, and they won't be able to harm or grab Maya while in this state. The key change is that to apply such effect, Maya's basic attacks won't suffice anymore, because to stun enemies she will have to use the "Sliding Tackle" or "Ground Pound" skills, or alternatively use the recently added sub-weapons "Lance" or "Star".

Being a smaller update, sadly there are no new ero scenes in this version. I'm working on two new animations and I even considered withholding today's release to add them in, but they are not in a finished state. Seeing as I was not confident I'd have them done by the last day of this month, I figured I might as well release the gameplay update now and reserve the animations and release them in the next update.

So that's it for now and back to work I go. Already starting a new dev-cycle doing more ero animations, but I'd love to hear your feedback on the new Lust feature, and please post your ideas here for interesting new traits and how they could affect Maya. If it's a cool and simple enough idea I will go ahead and add it to the game!

Right, I meant more of a direct control over animations so you're not fishing for the right one to play, especially when it's a new animation for an existing enemy. Of course the gallery and arena help with that, but having a way to control it outside of those areas would be nice, too

Definitely! Having direct or indirect control over what Maya might get more lust from is great, either through coming into direct contact with the mob and getting fucked by them, or maybe something like you said with magazines you can buy and use (maybe with a masturbation animation that plays while reading it) to choose her preference. And another idea could be that you can choose which animation plays when grabbed if it's by a mob that fits her preferences. Just another idea based off a different game where the MC's preference for oral/vaginal/anal sex could determine which animation is more likely to play.

Who's behind this AI? MS? Symantec? Whomever runs McAfee? I heard about a future where microsoft possibly requires everything to be signed by them, but i don't see that as particularly effective (there's going to be a loophole that everyone will enable anyway, or the review process will be too cumbersome, or too easy to self-sign or something) or wise to let them have such power.

Yeah, if she actually follows through with certain things to the game-over perhaps make the scenes of those types way more common than alternates (using the lust system expanding on it a bit). Could also use the shop to buy magazines of certain things to raise that level, maybe even adding "brain bleach" if you want to change her preferences, rather than using the settings in the arena to set them.

I'm using windows 11 and it happened when Maya wasn't wearing any clothing. When I went through clothed it didn't crash.

While I don't have any suggestions about new Lust traits just yet, while I was thinking about it it reminded me of something I'd like to see in a vore game over. Is it possible, after digestion that the camera follows the digester? It feels appropriate given Maya ends up part of whoever it was, and sometimes I kinda like to see the eaters that go back to wandering, frolick around a bit before rolling back time.

I want to track this bug down. I need your help with information on what OS you are using (win-64, etc), and if you've noticed any particular sequence of actions in-game, or a specific spot in the levels, that leads to the game crashing?

It might be interesting to assign Maya a "kink/fetish/partner sexuality preference/etc." for gathering more lust if she is repeatedly going for certain enemies. Like going for wolfboy would give her a furry preference, or going after women might give her a lesbian leaning, etc. Not sure how it could be implemented in a simple manner, but just an idea off the top of my head

Hate to say KO damage on animations is still broken. Nympho is to blame, since it can result in you ignoring the KO damage tick for animations that only have one (IE: Nina) and result in you getting softlocked instead. Personally, I think just changing the random grab damage nullification to a percentage reduction instead would work better (Since I like consistency) but you could also just make the KO hits immune to nullification

I found a problem in the bug fixed version: when the rabbit girls are spawned from the portals above in the forest challenge, they always end up stuck in the platforms. Also if you go ko when doing the yuri scene with the dwarf girl and have the vore/absorption scenes as permaKO (like what happens when the princess unbirth Maya and absorb her if the option is on), Maya will disappear once the scene is over, even when she shouldn't.

Yeah, naturally I would check of course, I guess in theory you might have unknowingly included malicious code if you're using other people's plugins etc. I can't pretend to be some uber black hat hacker and know all the ins and outs, but I very much expect it's just what I said it is. I play a WoW private server that recently released a new client my antivirus listed as malware, I looked into it, and sure enough it was the AI that had determined such. I really don't think it's malware. If it's any consolation, Deltarune, the sequel to Undertale, was determined to be malware by a lot of people's machines, lol. Should go to show how skeptical antivirus is of new executables, and understandably so.

Hey again Shalax! Indeed, I'm thinking of having at least 1 mental trait per fetish, as detailed in the fetish toggle screen. Some specific ones on top of that could work as well. But I figure I need to think of a way to manage or allow players to remove traits too, at a cost perhaps...

Here's a nice long term one. -Phile. Assign each enemy a kind of category (Humanoid, Slime, Monstrous, Plant, Furry, etc, etc), and as you rack up the tiers it gets harder and harder to struggle away, maybe even with minor animation variations where she outright enjoys it instead?

I'd like to make a suggestion for a couple of effects if they haven't already been mentioned (or implemented; slimy and sticky. For slimy, if could be after an opponent "swallows" maya and you manage to struggle out. The effect would make it so you have inertia when moving and slip when you land from jumping. This effect is from Echidna Wars DX. Sticky can be from when Maya is hit by spider webbing or other attacks that fire some kind of gunk at her. Instead of making her have inertia, she would instead lose a percentage of move speed. In tandem with the slimy effect, jumping while sticky above a certain percentage can make her get stuck in place when she lands where she has to do a struggle mechanic (a,d or left/right movement) to get moving. Both effects should regress semi-rapidly over time(or whatever you decide if you even want something like this).

Thanks a lot. The rest is great as always. Perhaps either a normal centaur or at least no respawns would aid. I really tried to go less on the debug cheating this time, and... worked kinda well even (of course means healing and all that more often but still, worked) Different thing: The Sinccubus does weird stuff for me? So when she moves randomly, and to 100% when she grabs you she... glitches? She switches between her normal animation and a hurt/dead animation like twice a second. So she just glitches around with no animation and that basically breaks her ero fun.

Encountered a bug with this build too - I think I bumped into an enemy that was hiding off-screen, in the loading zone between areas? I think I got pulled into an ero-scene struggle, but the loading zone still activated, so I moved to the new zone... Unable to move and with my MP still slowly draining. I ended up having to reload a save. Maybe make it so enemies can't go off-screen into loading zones or something? Edit: Second bug - the encounter with Livith respawns if you leave the area and come back.

I'm gonna have to second that the first Livith encounter is way too hard - starting a new game, with no abilities and only two stat boosts is brutal. I can see a few ways to ease it up: 1. Stop spawning after 10. I noticed that the room keeps spawning enemies past what you need to kill to reach 10 - don't do that. I don't think a new player is gonna be able to actually out DPS Kaly's healing ability, so maybe spawn Kaly + 10 normal enemies. 2. Remove Maya's collision while she's in i-frames. When Maya gets hit and she's invincible for a bit, she still has collision with other enemies - that's nice for that early game sequence break, but it's AWFUL here. I've had deaths where I just got pinned to a wall unable to move as I took hit after hit. I've had one of the bugs jump on my head and then kill me because I couldn't get out from under it. Maya having collision while invincible is a REAL problem in this arena. 3. Don't let the bugs infinite-jump. Whenever the bug hits something, it can keep jumping - I've gotten infinite-combo'd by these bugs hitting Maya. They hit you from below then just keep jumping over and over until they hit you into the ceiling, racking up a TON of damage in a couple seconds. Edit: 4. Have fewer enemies spawned at once. Rather than having... 5 or so enemies active in the arena at once, maybe bring that down to 4 or 3?

Love to see updates as always Mega. Why did you feel the need to include a virus scan? Are people accusing the game of being malware? Silly. You'll always have my support. Edit: Read the comments. I know what's causing it. New AI to check for malware is signing new executables as 'zero day' malware (basically 'guilty until proven innocent'). Not sure what the workaround is, but that will hopefully assuage any concerns.

You're being too harsh on yourself with the whole 'gotta pump out as many enemies / animations as possible'. Personally, fleshing out the game would be end all be all at this point, as there's already so many unique enemies to go around. Giving existing enemies more nuanced attack patterns and behaviors > sheer quantity of jank.

I am sorry but what joke is please that first meeting with Livith? I tried to best that room a few times legitimate, but even then with spamming the debug heal key I just get destroyed. The futa centaur is way too overpowered, as she just heals all enemies with ease. She heals 200 health, and with the single damage upgrade you can get until there you deal between 27 and 31 points of damage. If unlucky she just spams healing faster than you deal damage. But focusing the centaur has no use either cause she respawns after 10 seconds... and heals herself and char I get killed even when spamming the F5 key! The heals dont get through the stun lock I get caught in. Sorry but this room is simply frustrating and made me damn angry. That's way way too hard dude... no way to clear that without either grinding tons of bombs or using debug keys. I mean I like her ero and her design and all but... there, in that combo, that fight? Nope... frustrating as heck.

I managed to get the file downloaded. Discovered a possible bug at the shop. If Maya has the Nympho trait, she automatically detaches from the conversation, and it becomes difficult to end the interaction. I had to button mash for a few seconds before it finally registered the exit. Not sure if this was there before, but I also discovered that if you try to teleport just before an enemy grabs Maya, the teleport will go through, but you'll be stuck in place unable to move.

Fantastic! I've been looking forward to this! Since you asked an idea for an addition is either a aquirable skill or item that when in a ero grab maybe each time you match the heart or whatever damage is dealt to the enemy and Maya gains mana and or health. That way those who wanted to could do a no violence playthrough.

Dunno if its just me, but the Sinccubus doesn't seem to have a functioning grab anymore as well as Nina's CV finisher damage that's supposed to one-shot you doesn't seem to be consistently working resulting in you just being trapped forever after the animation
