We all do that. It's hard not obsess over numbers, especially if art is a big part of your life. Even one less watcher or worse, patron can put me in a bad mood. It's something that's hard to get over. I actually disconnect my computer from the internet when playing games or drawing now so I don't get stuck in a cycle of checking my accounts over and over, lol~

2019-02-20 01:11:33 +0000 UTCI just need to stop obsessing over the numbers. Which is hard since that's second nature after almost 6 years and it ends up being like withdrawal. It's pretty hard to earn watchers on there, but it's way too easy to lose them. Which only makes the losses even harder to see. Like you said, I'm trying to not stress too much about it.

2019-02-20 00:17:18 +0000 UTCWeird. No message or note? I constantly struggle with that feeling. Sometimes I feel I've got a good piece and I'm happy but it does poorly and depresses me. Other times I throw a sketch up and it blows my full paintings out of the water. I always question when my watchers go down. I'm not sure if it's because people left or if bot or spam accounts just got deleted. I always lose watchers in bulk, 3 or more at a time. I try not to stress about it.

2019-02-19 00:22:16 +0000 UTCThat's what I'd like to know, it was up one minute and it was gone almost 10 minutes after. Not even a peep from DeviantArt. I know it was easily my most despised piece, because on the sites they're still up on, except Twitter, that one drawing caused my numbers to nosedive. Which genuinely upsets me, cause I really loved how the detail on her ass turned out. Despite me saying that it was no big deal that I lose watchers/followers over works that I really liked. This huge loss was a true gut punch of a loss. Sorry for the essay, I just needed to vent this out.
