With two headaches gone, both her actual headache and her emotional headache in Audrey, Vanessa finally dared to leave the confines of her mattress.
Now in a conscious state of mind, Vanessa nearly stumbled stepping out of bed. The floor felt… closer than it had before, like the opposite of a phantom step when walking up the stairs, there simply should have been more distance. But there wasn’t, she looked over her legs to see that her feet were firmly touching the floor, toes sunken within the shag carpeting of the dorm.
Were her legs… longer?
The surprise did not come from the change itself, but from how quickly it had happened. In a mere span of 24 hours, what felt like two full inches of girth had been added to her legs. Even though Vanessa had all but given up on her skincare routine in a fit of sudden depression over the past few days, it was as if she had never stopped. Her legs were smooth and creamy, dazzling as the poor light in the room reflected off of her as if it were studio quality.
And that was just what she could see with her own two eyes. There were two very noticeable obstructions that took up her view. Even braless, her breasts were perkier, sitting up prouder on her chest, even if the stained t-shirt she wore to bed wasn’t much to be proudly displayed within.
Standing up from bed, her body was bombarded with a bunch of unaccustomed bearings. From the subtle feeling of thicker tresses falling upon her shoulders to the loud, bombastic sensation of her larger breasts and firmer ass jiggling about as she stood tall.
God, this felt good.
“Well, I don’t want to push it on my first day… but maybe I should see how far I can exert this new body of mine!” Vanessa remarked, quickly slipping out of her underwear and into some proper sportswear. Immediately, she noticed the lululemon tights hugging her form with a certain snugness not felt before. By tomorrow, they certainly wouldn’t fit. But tomorrow was the future, today… Today was a gift.
Something, something, that’s why it’s called the present.
She rocketed out the front entrance of the dorms with newfound resolve. Vanessa knew she should be pacing herself, but fuck that! This was about pushing limits! Becoming the prettiest girl, something she rightfully deserved!
Heads turned left and right as she sprinted past, but her gaze was locked inward. Sure, the catalyst of her entire desire to become enhanced was because of a desire to recapture the eyes of the men around her, but now, she could only revel in how pretty she was… how powerful she was… how dominating she would become…
“Oh my god! Look out!”
Vanessa’s attention was thrust back into reality as the path before her literally ended, time slowing to a crawl as her mind became inundated with new information. The sudden dip in altitude before her was thanks to an old sewer drain which once had a flowing current, yet was now an empty concrete ditch 20 cubic feet deep
Thinking fast—not smart—her first instinct was to leap across the entire obstacle. Vanessa immediately regretted this decision, her arms flapping and flailing as she flew through the air to her certain doom.
And yet, her doom was not so certain. Gravity should have kicked in by now, certainly? Her body continued to move forward without gaining much downward momentum, as if she were parachuting across the gorge, only with no jellyfishing sheet or uncomfortable harness to be seen.
By the time she landed on the other side of the old sewer unscathed, Vanessa was almost more confused than she was relieved. “What the hell was that? Did I just… fall slower than I should’ve back there?”
Suddenly, her being more glammed than ever before was not the only thing she had to look forward to in her future.
Vanessa quickly jogged back to campus, but not before stopping to pick up a hefty bite to eat. She greedily ordered almost one of everything on the menu, only for her heart to sink when she remembered the crucial next step of living within a capitalist society.
“Well, that’ll be $124.78. Are you gonna pay, lady? Or am I going to have to call the cops?”
Unfortunately, no amount of flashing her pretty looks could conquer the one true stonewall—a minimum-wage worker with an empty tip jar.
“Oh, don’t worry, she’s with me.”
Vanessa turned around at the sound of the familiar face, that of a Doctor Kevin Giles. His hand then reached past the bountiful bosom of his test subject to deposit a hefty tip into the jar.
Flirty eyes then stared Vanessa in the face. “Go ahead, take a seat somewhere, table for two.”

“Anything else to report?”
“Well… hmm…” Vanessa paused, thinking deeply in between bites of toast. “There was this weird dream I ended up having last night. I was perfect… my body had reached its peak performance within it. You were there, as was Audrey.”
“Ooh, do tell!” Kevin said, his eyes lighting up at an unprompted mention of his name, especially as it pertained to a souped-up Vanessa at the height of her power.
“Oh no, I remember it vividly now. I was the ruler of everything. The world was worshiping me, as were you.” A smile briefly formed upon her face, only for it to be quickly shunted by the crippling realization of what she had just said. “Oh god, that’s not going to happen is it? I-I… my last dream about being powerful was just me helping Audrey, what’s happening to me!? Is this virus affecting my mind or something?”
“No… it can’t be doing that,” Kevin replied, hand already on his chin as he paced about, contemplating what sort of bodily function could be causing such a strange mentality. “The virus doesn’t add anything to your brain, that’s a non-factor.”
The doctor thought about it some more, but when he could not find a particular conclusion he liked, he simply shrugged his shoulders. “Ah well, I will sleep on it and likely have an answer for you tomorrow… that is, unless I spend all night dreaming about you.”
“Aww, that’s sweet,” Vanessa replied, and she meant it too. Maybe it was his passion, or—more likely—maybe it was the fact that he was a fucking hunk, but Vanessa found herself meaning every one of those three words.
Was she actually becoming attracted to him? No, he was merely a means to an end. She’d most certainly find someone with less… red flags for sure.
Yes, he was merely a supplier of goods and a free checkup visit if anything strange happened. But even then, she hadn’t informed him about that super jump of hers.
Kevin seemed like the micromanaging type, maybe he didn’t need to know everything about her.

2022-12-09 15:31:23 +0000 UTCVanessa is already beginning to develop borderline superpowers!? A bit fast, but I ain’t complaining. And I’m almost certain by now that *something* is happening with her mind. Not sure what, but something. Might just be that the virus is trying to make her smarter (since I believe any “super” powers will stem from her mind and other physical changes in combination 🤔 )
