Beyond Super - Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7: Daddy?

With a powerful swirl of air, Alyssa instantaneously retrieved a button-up shirt from Clark’s bedroom, returning to her previous position in a nanosecond as she buttoned all but the top few buttons. Her divine curves stretched the garment into such tightness over the succulent swells of her bountiful chest and graceful slopes of her supple hips that it nearly tore. Human clothing was never designed to contain a body so utterly magnificent. On her smolderingly sexy form, the simple, shapeless clothing was made to look like the robe of Aphrodite herself. Better, actually, the young blonde realized, since the magnificent blonde was fairly certain that the minor Olympic goddess’s body couldn’t drop Wonder Woman to her knees with unquenchable desire as hers could.

The sexy blonde vixen gave the shirt a little tug, coaxing the scandalously thin material downward until it managed to barely cover the lower slopes of her perfect ass and the upper flesh of her long, silky thighs. Satisfied with her minimalist garb, the girl covered the distance between her and the mysterious floating man in two leggy strides. She crossed her arms under her substantial bust, the movement pulling the tight, white shirt even higher over tanned, succulent thighs.

“My, girl, you did turn out to be attractive, didn’t you?”

“I don’t need some creepy, tiny guy commenting on my looks, thank you very much. Now please leave. I was just about to completely blow my boyfriend’s mind with a little sexy time that I’ve been waiting for all day!!”

Before she could respond, another burst of wind fluttered her skimpy garment. This time, a red-and-blue-clad man glided to a hover between her and the odd floating man.

“Superman?” Alyssa gasped, her eyes going wide. “What are you doing here?”

Her eyes shifted from side to side before meeting his. “If this is about the whole Wonder Woman thing, it’s not my fault! She just attacked me!”

“It’s not that, miss.” He cast a concerned glance at the Amazon superhero who remained on the ground, her full chest rising and falling where she lay. “I’m here to protect you from this mischievous fiend,” said Clark, turning his attention to the hovering man in the purple hat. He knew that she was far more capable than he when it came to protecting herself from physical harm. But this was different. This fifth dimensional imp didn’t play by any conventional rules of physical combat, able to conjure whatever his impish imagination led him to create.

“I don’t need your protection,” said Alyssa in annoyance. She instantly appeared, floating next to Superman, curling her long fingers into the indestructible blue fabric that covered his broad chest until it began to tear. She pulled him toward her, holding the king of earth’s superheroes helpless with a single hand.

“Miss!” Clark grabbed her slender wrist with both hands. He struggled to remove it but was unable to budge her powerful grip in the least. She felt stronger than anyone he’d ever faced. “I’m… only… trying… to help!” he managed, uttering a word between each held breath as he attempted to martial every ounce of the prodigious strength he possessed.

“God,” Alyssa laughed at his pathetic attempts to dislodge her hand. “You’re so weak!”

Clark’s body began to respond to the nearness of the staggeringly beautiful girl as she casually overpowered him. He wasn’t sure whether he was more aroused by her goddess-like attractiveness or her terrifying strength, which far outclassed his.

“You want me, don’t you?” she said, a sly smile gracing her pillowy lips as her breathtakingly blue eyes cast a glance at his rising erection.

“I, um…” Clark attempted not to look into her mesmerizing eyes, knowing that looking at the teen stunner would only make matters worse.

“It’s okay, everyone wants me now,” she smirked, her long lashes fluttering coquettishly. “Even your pal over there can’t resist me.” She nodded toward the recovering Wonder Woman.

Suddenly, the comment seeming to remind her of something, Alyssa cast a sidelong glance at Clark’s bedroom, finding him gone. She scanned the rest of the house in an instant with her x-ray vision, but the man was nowhere to be seen. Only a breathless Diana, still panting on the floor, remained in the house.

Her eyes narrowed as she turned them toward Superman once again. Her voice seethed with menace. “What did you do with Clark?”

Superman simply stared back at her uncertainly, his steely blue eyes reticent.

Alyssa tightened her grip on the Man of Steel, then threw him, with absurd force, to the ground. The spine-shattering impact shuddered every house in the neighborhood, burying him in an impact crater that spanned nearly the entire backyard. She landed beside the crater where the dazed superhero lay, hauling him up and shaking his limp body.

“Where is my boyfriend?!” she demanded.

A soft chuckle sounded from off to the side, accompanied by a slow clap. “This is just too much fun. You’re quite attractive, young one. Not so bright, though.”

The breathtaking beauty looked up at the smaller man with a scowl, dropping the dazed Man of Steel to the ground to rise to the imp’s level. “You should watch your words, old man. I’m pretty strong, you know. Strong enough that Superman himself can’t do a thing against me.”

“Arrogant too, I see.” The floating man smiled adoringly at the girl, his eyes glimmering with pride. “Truly her father’s daughter.”

“Who are you?” said Alyssa in an annoyed tone, sounding every bit the teenage she was.

“Why I’m Mr. Mxyzptlk, of course! But you can call me daddy if you’d like. I know that’s what these humans prefer.” He swept his hand before him in a half-circle, palm up.

Alyssa looked momentarily shocked, then her gaze turned sly, her perfect lips curling into a smile. “Nice try, Mr. Mixputick or whatever your name was, but my dad lives next door.” She pointed a slender finger toward her house.

“Hardly,” said the unabashed man, brushing at his curly hair casually. “I’m a fifth dimensional being, and you’re my daughter. My wife and I placed you here on earth for your formative years after being impressed with how competent your boyfriend here was as an adversary.”

He looked down at Superman, who was shaking his head as if to clear it and attempting to rise to his feet, still dazed by Alyssa’s powerful throw. “His parents did the same, you know. Sent their powerful child to earth to develop as a simple human mortal. I suppose that earth does make a wonderful little boarding school for the powerful.”

Alyssa’s sculpted brows furrowed as she eyed the man, attempting to decipher whether he was telling the truth. “But why would you do that? Why would you put me here? Why would you never visit me?”

“As I said, child, allowing you to develop without your natural powers was an experiment that we felt might benefit you. And it certainly entertained us! We visited you quite often actually, remaining invisible so as not to arouse your suspicions. But you were hardly ordinary. You seemed to desire superhuman attractiveness, so that is how you became. Even Superman here was affected by your appearance.”

The odd man, twirled in place, clearly delighted by his staggering revelations. “It’s quite ironic that you grew to be attracted to the being we placed you near! Knowing he would be a wonderful protector for you until you came of age.”

“And that was before your ‘father’ gave you the Kryptonite. I may have influenced his choice in gifts a bit, but I thought that it could be so entertaining. And I was so right!” he giggled, giddy with delight. “You felt its power, and you allowed it to affect you as it would a human, giving you powers just like those of your boyfriend. But you didn’t let it stop there, now did you?”

“My boyfriend? But he’s human. He doesn’t have powers!” Alyssa objected, her ire rising as she was reminded of the missing object of her childhood fantasies.

Mr. Mxyzptlk laughed, brushing aside her objection.

“You wanted to show off a bit for your little boy toy. It’s okay, child. No need to argue. I can sense the truth of it.” He smiled as he saw his daughter’s cheeks flush. “So you sucked every ounce of power from the stone through your interdimensional portal, my dear. It was quite amusing, really, how you discovered your connection to your home dimension. You pulled enough power to take down little miss god-killer over there, which was actually a mildly impressive feat.”

He hooked his thumb at the Amazon warrior in the house as she sat up, staring in confusion at the floating imp.

“You mean my birthday present? The one I made a wish on?” Alyssa asked, desperately wishing her blush would fade.

Mr. Mxyzptlk laughed so hard this time that he spun in a mid-air somersault.

“Quite so, little one. Quite so. Your wish was your first, instinctively phrased spell-equation, allowing you to tap the power of the stone and magnify it as it passed through your interdimensional portal. You must have felt Clark’s superhuman abilities on some level and desired to impress him. He does seem to be rather enamored with powerful women.” The imp stared directly at Superman as he struggled to his feet, meeting the fifth dimensional being’s gaze.

“So this is your doing, Mxy? I should have known!” muttered Superman angrily.

Alyssa’s wide-eyed gaze traveled between Superman and the imp several times before landing on the Man of Steel and sizing him up carefully, examining his every cell with her x-ray vision.

“So you’re Clark?” she breathed, her eyes filling with hurt. “Why didn’t you tell me you were… were…”

Superman’s eyes softened as he saw the gorgeous girl’s distress, instinctively driven to comfort her. “I just… well, I don’t tell anyone, and…” he stammered.

“But you’re my boyfriend!” said Alyssa, her stunning sapphire eyes turning faintly pink with growing anger. The air before them rippled with heat as her eyes began to glow with another Kryptonian power that she had given herself but never before used.

She turned her attention toward the small imp floating before her. “And you! Giving your daughter to a human. Never telling her who her parents were? Letting her think she was someone else entirely. It’s… it’s horrible!”

As she spoke the final word, her sculpted arms tensing at her sides, she unleashed an insanely powerful blast of heat vision at her fifth dimensional father. The man instantly became translucent, allowing the twin beams to pass through him without harm. They lanced out of the earth’s atmosphere, their searing destructive power ripping through the moon to leave two small, perfect tunnels through its rocky core.

Alyssa blinked in surprise, the red glow fading from her irises as she gasped at what she’d done. She raised her fingers to her mouth in shock.

Mr. Mxyzptlk giggled with delight. “Quite impressive, little one! Your Kryptonian boy toy could never have managed that!”

Alyssa’s wide eyes returned to their previous scowl as she regarded her nearly omnipotent father with very human teenage disdain.

“I agree,” said a deep voice from the house. “But perhaps my latest creation could do even better.”

Both father and daughter turned to see a tall, muscular, gray-skinned man smiling darkly at them both. He was accompanied by a gorgeous blonde in a tight black top that was little more than a bra, and tight, low-rise, strappy red-and-black leggings. The ensemble left her impressively rippling, muscular core bare to the eye. Three black bands wrapped around each sculpted arm, and the ends of her hair, pushed into an up-do, rose above her angelic face like a jagged crown.

“Kara?” Superman gasped, his expression horrified.

She smiled. “Yes, Kal-El. It’s me.” She smirked, her blue eyes flashing darkly. “The new and improved version.”

She flashed forward, reaching Superman in an instant, her fingers curled around his throat before he could react. She raised him by his neck until his feet dangled below. He struggled to release himself from her grasp, but his efforts were as useless against her as they had been with Alyssa. His cousin felt at least as powerful as his young blonde neighbor. Possibly more.

“Behold what the infusion of Kryptonian DNA with omega energy can do!” The gray-skinned man chuckled as he strode confidently from the house into the back yard, pleased at how much stronger Supergirl, his newest lieutenant, had become.

Alyssa, floating above them both, looked torn, unsure what to do. Somehow, she could sense the power emanating from Supergirl's breathtaking form, knowing instinctively that it was even greater than her own.

The muscular, block-jawed stranger turned his attention to Alyssa. “I would love to test her power against that of a fifth-dimensional being.” Darkseid gave the sexy, floating blonde a cruel smile. “If my calculations are correct, my creation will be more than capable of taking care of you…”
