Added 2021-03-26 02:13:15 +0000 UTCWhew! Managed to crank out the next part of this story before I left. I hope you enjoy it. It's the calm before the storm that will be Part 4. ;)
CHAPTER 3: The Game
Clark paid for a ticket, then entered the stadium, breathing in the scent of stale popcorn and soda that always accompanied high school football games. He worked his way down the stadium steps to his seat. Finding it after a brief search, he glanced down toward the field. Alyssa was on the sideline, her eyes laser-focused…
...on him!
The girl was every bit as breathtaking as she had been that morning. Perhaps more. Her appearance eclipsed that of her cheer teammates like the sun eclipsed the stars. It was impossible to look at anyone but her. In fact, the magnetic appeal of her alluring appearance had blossomed to the point where Clark doubted that anyone in the stands that was attracted to the fairer sex was looking in any direction but hers.
As the marching band took the field, blaring the school’s fight song in the distance, the supremely sexy girl gave him a furtive wave. Each finger wiggled in her tantalizing greeting, the mere fact that she was acknowledging him publicly sending a jolt of liquid pleasure into his accelerating heart.
A pot-bellied man next to him noticed her attention on Clark. “Dude! That mega-hottie down there is waving at you!”
Self-conscious, Clark pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose in an attempt to ignore the man’s comment.
The stranger’s expression turned from awe to confusion. “Well, aren’t you gonna wave back?”
Clark felt his cheeks flush, then half-raised a hand and waved back at her. Alyssa flashed him a dazzling smile that sent his pulse surging even further.
“So what’s your secret, pal?” said Mr. Potbelly, gazing adoringly at the teen beauty as she adjusted her pom poms. “That girl must be the hottest piece of ass I’ve ever seen in my life!”
Clark shifted in his seat uncomfortably, unaccustomed to this sort of conversation. After a moment’s consideration, he turned to the other man and in a soft voice told him. “I don’t think that’s an appropriate way to address the girl.”
“What are you, her father?” the man said sarcastically before his eyes widened. “You are her father, ain’t you? Look, I’m sorry, man! I didn’t know!”
Clark suppressed a smile. He certainly wasn’t. He wasn’t that much older than she was, but if that made the man stop talking about Alyssa that way, he was grateful for the misconception.
Unfortunately, the man wasn’t quite finished.
“I bet you’ve gotta beat away the guys with a stick! I mean that girl’s like a friggin’ supermodel or somethin’!” He turned to Clark again. “Say, I’ll bet she could make bank if you put her in front of a camera. I mean, damn! Tons a guys would pay a fuckton to see a girl like her…”
The man continued to babble, but Clark tuned him out, turning to watch the start of the game. Again, he quickly found his gaze gliding the graceful lines of Alyssa’s ravishing curves. She seemed to sense his gaze, however, and her eyes always seemed to flow to him, causing him to repeatedly—and hastily—look away.
Why was it so difficult to keep from ogling this girl?! He’d never experienced anything like it. Diana was breathtakingly attractive too, but she didn’t seem to attract him like Alyssa did. There was just something about her. She was like a magnet for his attention. An irresistibly sexy magnet…
As she and her teammates prepared to launch into another cheer, one of her team’s players rumbled down the field. He was shoved over the sideline by a member of the opposing team. The heavily-padded, 200-pound young man stumbled right into Alyssa!
Clark rose from his seat, his face contorting with concern as he watched the boy crash directly into Alyssa from behind. But rather than sending the young blonde flying as he expected, the player bounced from her shapely body as if he had just struck a concrete column. His head whipped back and he ricocheted from her curvaceous backside, landing hard on his back. He slid a few feet on the turf before his crumpled body came to a complete stop at the edge of the field.
Alyssa turned and watched the unmoving boy with a shocked expression on gorgeous face. A scowling coach ran quickly to his side. The older man gave Alyssa a wide-eyed glance that quickly turned to puzzlement before returning his attention to his injured player.
Alyssa turned her sapphire eyes to Clark’s and shrugged. They were filled with uncertainty, puzzlement. Clark, still coming to grips with the fact that it had been the player who was injured, rather than the girl, merely gaped at her in return. How had such a thing been possible? No mere human could have been completely unaffected by a player of that size running into her. That was something he’d only seen with fellow…
...Rao!
That was the reaction he would have expected—if Alyssa were a superhero! Did this girl have superpowers? If she did, he’d never seen her display them before now. Not that that necessarily meant anything. Alyssa had never seen him display his powers either. At least, not as Clark. But that certainly didn’t mean he hadn’t always had them.
His mind spinning with the possibilities, Clark thought back over what she had told him earlier that day. She had mentioned running faster. And beating the guys in sit-ups! Her body did seem to have been even more amazing today than it had already been—as difficult to believe as that was! Maybe she had just gained superpowers recently?
His mind flashed back to the silver orb she had held in front of him last week—the birthday present she had been given, the object from the Kent farm. Did that have something to do with this? He couldn’t shake the feeling that it might.
His gaze returned to the gorgeous girl, who was putting her hands beneath a smaller girl’s feet. Great moons of Krypton! Was she going to launch that girl into the air? With the display of invulnerability she’d just put on, if her strength had been progressing similarly, the girl might send her poor squadmate into the bleachers!
Clark rose from his seat, then ran up the stairs. Slipping around a corner out of sight, he changed into his Superman costume faster than the human eye could follow. Leaping into the air, Clark rocketed toward the field.
He was just in time.
Alyssa did exactly what he feared she might, catapulting the small girl fifty feet into the air. A look of shock washed over the blonde’s exquisite features as she stared upward at what she had just done. Clark met the teenage projectile at the apex of her ascent, snaking his heavily muscled arm around her tiny waist and pulling her against him.
She gasped, gazing into Superman’s eyes in shocked amazement. As he sailed through the sky, a small smile played across her lips, and he felt her rigid body relax. Clark grinned inwardly. It wasn’t uncommon for the women he rescued to enjoy the experience. He was a handsome man, after all.
The mere notion of physical attractiveness drew his eyes downward until they fixated on Alyssa once again. As his gaze traced the elegant contours of her voluptuous profile, a sudden thrill rippled through him. Great suns! What was it about this girl?!
He swooped over the field, gliding in for a gentle landing just before the cheer squad. As he set down the girl, she thanked him, standing on tiptoes to wrap her arms around him in a grateful hug. The crowd cheered, the football teams also giving them a round of applause before returning to their game.
Alyssa approached, her expression demure, a marked departure from her usual look of confidence of late. “Thanks, Superman! I don’t know what happened! I’m so sorry…”
“It’s alright, Al—” He caught himself before saying her name. That was the absolute last thing he needed to do. Superman shouldn’t know this girl. He’d never met her as his alter ego. So he modified the word mid-sentence. “—right, young woman.”
Only slightly awkward. She didn’t seem to notice, likely feeling a bit awkward herself after the near-disastrous propulsion of her teammate.
“So you have superpowers?” he continued, eager to shift the focus of the conversation away from his slight flub.
Alyssa’s eyes widened. “I do? I mean, I don’t! I mean, I’m not sure what’s going on! I’ve never had them before, but, well, I’ve never been able to throw someone 50 feet into the air before either!”
“Just be careful, miss. Super-strength is nothing to be careless with,” Clark cautioned her. But his gaze instinctively dropped to her sumptuous cleavage before he realized what he’d done. It snapped back to her eyes, but it was too late. She’d already caught him looking.
“Well, you’d certainly know,” she said, her momentary uncertainty fading, replaced by her typical confidence. The corners of her plump, ruby lips turned upward in a sly smile. “Maybe you could teach me how to use my body properly sometime?”
Clark swallowed hard, his mouth going suddenly dry. He certainly wouldn’t mind assisting the girl with her powers as Superman. But given his reactions to her—not to mention the way she was looking at him right now—that was an epicly bad idea.
“Maybe another time, miss,” the superhero said awkwardly, noting the shakiness in his voice. Great stars, that girl was absolutely mesmerizing! Before she spoke again, he leapt into the sky and flew away, images of her perfect body seeming to be permanently seared into his mind’s eye.

2021-03-26 13:59:20 +0000 UTCI didn’t think it was possible, but somehow, Alyssa keeps getting hotter and hotter ! You managed really well the reveal about Alyssa’s powers : her attitude and reactions remains mysterious and ambiguous. Clark’s/Superman POV constantly trying to look away, hiding his attraction, works well to keep us in the dark about her real powers/true intentions. Thanks for this new chapter!
