In-Progress Stories...

So I'm always working on a number of stories. I don't feel right about sharing commissioned work that's in progress with anyone but the story's patron (unless they tell me it's okay), but I'm willing to share my own in-progress stories. Some of you have told me that you would like to see my stories take shape as I write them, however, so I thought I might share them here.

Now, it is a little embarrassing to let people see my drafts before they've been properly edited and polished. It's a little like having your mom post your own naked baby pictures on Facebook or something, but I'm not too proud to do it for those to see how I do things. :)

But a couple of ground rules first:

1. Remember these are drafts. The writing will be kinda shitty. Not the quality you've come to expect from me when reading my finished stuff. If you want more polished writing, simply refrain from viewing the in-progress stories and wait until I post the finished versions here. Please don't feel obligated to wade through my drafts if you would prefer to read stories for the first time in their finished state.

2. If I'm in the Google doc writing, while you happen to jump to read it, feel free. I'm fine with you watching me write in real-time if you'd like.

3. If you have thoughts or ideas that you would like to see or suggestions for improving the story, I'm happy to listen to them. Just message me here, at hikerangel008@gmail.com, or on Discord at HikerAngel#9623. But please don't be offended if I don't include your suggestion. I will do my best, but if I don't feel it is the best for that particular story, I reserve the right to go another direction. If you want the final say on everything in the story, though, you can absolutely commission one. On a commission, while I'll offer suggestions or flesh things out in my own way as I write, I will always defer to the wishes of the person paying me.

4. If you don't want spoilers, then don't read the outlines within the story docs. They will give everything away. Sometimes I use them, sometimes I don't. But if there is one there, don't read it unless you want to know how the story will unfold, albeit at a high level.

Alright, so here are a couple of non-commissioned stories that are unfinished and haven't yet been posted anywhere. (HikerAngel closes her eyes, hoping that everyone doesn't think less of her when seeing her raw, completely unedited first drafts...)
