7-6-24 Progress Update

This week, the majority of the work was on the script. All of the scenes have been edited and are ready for implementation...we just ran out of time to move further on this one. The art is probably right around the 50% mark. Finishing the programmer art for new attractions and getting out our first internal test build of v0.24 is our main priority for this coming week.

This week, we finished implementing all four rounds of the battle minigame for v0.03! The code has quickly exploded now that there can be mermaids fighting on both sides, and since our targeting system for projectiles cannot be reused for beam-type weapons, we need a ton more checks (and art resources!) to make sure that everyone is hitting who they're supposed to be! The rest of the script has been implemented, so we're just waiting on our main artist to work on the animated scenes.
Next weekend, we'll be celebrating SID Gaming's four year anniversary! You can expect a retrospective post and some other fun surprises in store!
