2024-12-05 00:53:42 +0000 UTCI’ve been sitting with this one all week. Tyler is an artiste but it takes me awhile to get into his music because it’s not how I necessarily like my Hip-Hop. I’m a beat over lyrics type person. The way that beat comes in at 2:37 on “Sticky” that’s my kinda ting.

He mentioned the dad being in the picture and coming from a middle class family so I don't think he's referring to himself. Based on his music, his dad wasn't in his life and he grew up poor lol so that doesn't describe his childhood. Other people are saying he's talking about Drake, but that description doesn't fit Drake's upbringing either. Interesting to discuss though! He definitely could have a specific person in mind

2024-10-30 02:34:40 +0000 UTCHonestly, I would say this is his 3rd best album in his catalog. Production wise, I believe it’s his best and he stepped his pen game a bit too with this album. It’s above Goblin, Wolf, Cherry Bomb, Bastard, and Igor, but not higher than CMIYGL and Flower Boy.

2024-10-29 21:18:01 +0000 UTCJust artistically, the messages, and sonically this is a really good body of work … I won’t replay some of the songs but the messages definitely stuck with me … Tyler is just one of those people who takes the art form not only seriously but he plays around with it and that’s what art is meant to be … Some songs gave me that hip hop R&B style that was prominent in the 90s etc … I only have about 5 songs downloaded but it’s a good body of work … That sticky song with sexyy and glo was so wild 😂… but I’m here for it … it’s getting sticky takes me out everytime … 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣…

I loved the production on the album and the vibes were all there for me. Only song I didn’t really rock with is Judge Judy, but that’s mainly it. Definitely one of the best this year.

I alao felt disappointed by the selection of features, Wayne, Teezo and Daniel Ceaser did their thing but everybody else wasnt needed imo. Glorilla, Sexy Redd and Playboi Carti was just there lol And Tyler did his thing with the production and rapping 💯💯
