Megan The Stallion's "Megan" Album Review/Reaction

Megan The Stallion's "Megan" Album Review/Reaction

Comments

she had victoria monet with that feature 😭 shoulda asked her to help write choruses too since vic (used to?) write with arigato

jay ?

Gave it a try and honestly got a bit disappointed. She's so talented and tbh her freestyles to me are far better than a good part of her actual songs... There are some hits in this album, but most of it was pretty expectable and boring.

Sandro

mashumi, BAS, otaku hot girl, and where them at all made my playlist from the new tracks

neotechblink x

Megan need to get whoever does Ariana Grande chorus

Cesar R🇩🇴

I really enjoyed Downstairs DJ and BAS from this album. I appreciate the relatability of the song I mean how many of us have “relaxed ourselves” then fallen asleep haha. Plus I lowkey think Tyler the Creator could make a song similar to Downstairs DJ and make it sound good despite the subject. I definitely enjoyed Dee’s reaction to this one

ZombieM

Forgettable and basic. Defines her catalog pretty well.

Astrapionté

“I beat it till I fall asleep”😂😂

Akasi O

The white bitch she’s talking about is Kylie Jenner

Riffmaster78

This album definitely grew on me. My main note about this album is my girl meg gotta get better at making a good catchy chorus lol

Joshua Moore

25:25 "Nigga who" 😭😭😭

humblegrind

The downstairs dj slander is crazy. I agree with all the takes except that one😭😭 love these reactions

Kaydance P

Lmao when dee started in on downstairs dj i laughed so hard cause i really like that song the most😭

Kaydance P

Putting a face to the nigga she talking about definitely gives the album an extra boost for me lol

Emani

and let me stop you there🤚🏾 it’s not because there’s people that dislike it. it’s people’s response to the album that lets me know what they are. like the way people are responding is straight from stan Twitter and are literally mentioning Nicki and Big Foot lmao. Megan is genuinely loved in real life so 95% of the time when you see her getting hate it’s either from barbz, Drake stans and/or Tory Lanez stans. period.

MykeYonce

You just assume that people are barbs because they don't like the album? You may be online a bit too much, some of us just genuinely dislike some things about this album and that's ok. Some of you lot are so strange and get personally offended when we have different tastes. If there are things we don't like, we can voice that. Worry about your own opinions and stop obsessing over others', you'll live a happier life ❤️

Sharma Sue

also, you have a lot of barbz in your comments being hella negative…the Megan hate is so forced to me lol.

MykeYonce

this album grew on me a lot. my first reaction was kinda meh but then i kept listening and it’s actually fire af! my only two critiques with this album and Megan in general is I wish for one, she get somebody to help her with her choruses. she’s beyond talented and we know she’s a great rapper and likes to write her own verses and they all be fire, however, her choruses tend to fall short because it’s always SO repetitive. choruses should have a more catchy melody and she usually falls short there. another critique is, she titled this album MEGAN so i thought she would go a little more in depth with things, especially since COBRA was the lead single. overall, I really like this album the more I listen to it and I think it could grow on you. if you ever have a long drive somewhere just put it on bop and vibe, don’t even worry about critiquing every little thing. it’s really a vibe 🔥

MykeYonce

Ion even like Meg bc ik back then it was getting boring for me to hear bout someone else pussy ngl n too see that’s what this album gave to the extreme shows she has no growth n them numbers are for sure going to speak

Ace_ 19

Nicki aint lie on big foot every guy she slept with is on twitter they made threads

Jaden J

Beats are cool but its all very repetitive still. How many no tea lyrics you gonna make

Jaden J

this album tanked

Hasamkat

Its a no for me. I downloaded 0 songs. I was sure this was gonna be a good album because I loved Cobra and Hiss. Im disappointed.

Rubins Norelia

I personally liked the album, could she have done better for sure but I’m not mad at the few songs I’ve downloaded. She’s improved so much from her past projects I’m just happy to see her glowing <3

Joshua Moore

You can hit Shuffle and switch every verse from all the songs . And it would still sound the same

Rasheed Fraser

By the end of the album I was starting to think she might be a sex addict, it was just too much! Especially songs were she was rapping about her emotions and then is like "by the way my 🐈so wet" she was all over the place

George Odembo

This shit was exhausting every song is centered around Attacking Men ,Women (haters) and Sex. Im actually impressed by how many creative ways she can rap about sex but God damn there no depth whatsoever

Rasheed Fraser

Agreed 1000% I was like girl what? Lol I appreciate her being honest about why she's so sexual but it just made the previous songs sound even more sad. It's not giving sexual liberation, it's given broken and low self esteem

Dee Shanell

Her team did a great job picking those singles because they were forsure some of the best on the entire album lol

Dee Shanell

Lmao it sounds just like K-Rap. I wonder if they call it J-Rap lol

Dee Shanell

I can’t believe she did that on the Jeezy like that…shaking my Fuckin head

Frozenone

Omg yes great take!

Aniyah

Nah 40:03 had me dead 😭😭😭😭. And I think the white girl she was talking about is iggy azalea

Aniyah

"i dont wanna hear krap" 😭

futuregoat348

PF2>Megan Scarlet>Megan

Malik Charleston

right. She has a few songs where I’m like ‘gurl, wtf’ but it’s been on repeat for me.

.

The fact that CupcaKKe’s album is better than Megan’s is actually crazy

Milkyway

I'm really confused cause how she promoted the whole cobra/snake theme was not what the album gave. Not to mention the over the top sexual themes were very try hard. Also the song Worthy song legit sounds like a wanna be Doja Say So moment, but it missed completely. I say the album is honestly mid.

Tati

I fully agree with everything and I’m a huge Megan fan so I’m really disappointed! The only song I really liked is B.A.S , I loved traumazine as well so I was really expecting a lot from this and was let down by all the basic sexual songs.

Justin

I think I would've liked the album more had she stuck with the snake theme. Only Hiss and Cobra fit the theme. I also wish she would've flipped the order and put the deeper songs , then hiss, then the "party" songs. It would've actually followed along with her transformation like she mentioned b4.

J AS

Same, I love Meg bc of her personality and she's a fellow tall girl but I could never get fully into the music. I still have songs i listen to, like her older stuff & a few new ones.

J AS

I listened to the whole album yesterday. I enjoyed most of it, there were a couple songs that I probably wouldn't listen to again. But really enjoyed Accent w/GloRilla and Paper Together with UGK. I actually added them both to my playlist. Oh yeah there is a song with a Japan Artist I really enjoyed too, I just can't think of the name at this moment. I already liked HISS, BOA and Cobra and already had these songs. I do agree with alot of people in the comments. Why does it seem when she does these amazing freestyles we aren't getting that Meg. I see it with Cardi as well, she has these amazing features and talking her ish but when it comes to her actual songs they are lacking.

Chantelle Cline

In all sincerity, Moody Girl felt like I was listening in on a therapy session and not in a good way. I hope she’s divulged these feelings to someone qualified to help her through them.

Jazz Rivers

Thats why i said in my opinion we aren’t the same person, watched the whole video and i like 1 some forget the name tho so is couldn’t have been crazy good.😊

Cajii

That's only 4 songs out of 18. Listening to a 1/5 of an album and saying you hate everything is crazy work.

Sinsdneeys

10/18 (Including HISS, BOA & Cobra) tracks that I like, but still the album is alright. Down Stairs DJ is just pure comedy because girl what??? lmfao

Muffinz Okuurr

I wanted to comment that the "white bitch" might be about Iggy & the stuff w/ Tory Lanez. She really needs to stop making so many songs about people not liking her. Make a reference and move on. Everybody ain't going to like you. It's okay. The adlibs in this are too repetitive, & I was getting tired by the 10th song. As far as sexual songs go, and I'd say this about all female rappers: they need to discover metaphors. This album was everywhere. I'm not mad about the lack of subject matter bc the history of music is full of albums solely about love, clubbing, and depression. Many of which are legendary. It's about the execution. The songs aren't great and scattered all over with little cohesion. I'd love to see her collaborate w/ R&B artists bc that VM song was excellent. That Otaku song deserves to be on a better album tbh. I only counted 4 songs I liked.

Sinsdneeys

I agree with most, if not all the critiques on this album. I think the final nail in the coffin for me was when we got Megan Mondays, where she was RAPPING, just for her to give us this.... Even switching it from the Snake theme to just "Megan" also ruined it, because it seemed like it would have been a more polished Traumazine. It's almost an extreme waste of talent.

Donte

i thought that too omg when the beat came in i thought it was a sample

Ashka

I think the accent song was made because Nicki said she's country and she raps like Pimp C. So she made that song. Overall I have a couple of songs that I like but the album was underwhelming I definitely wanted more and expected more. Being that she's not with 1501 anymore I need her to sit down and create a great cohesive project. I don't want a bunch of songs thrown onto a project.

Laurence

Only 9 minutes in and i hate them all dee.. she couldve kept this bs IMO!!!

Cajii

I think I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that Megan just doesn’t make music for me, and that’s okay. Still love her down, but Broke His Heart made me wanna break my damn phone when that shit start playin through my speakers 😭😭😭😭 All this sex talk is EXHAUSTING. I must be gettin old.

Jazz Rivers

The three singles were phenomenal. Meg what the fck is this 😭😭😭😭😭

Cory

“White bishhh on the internet” she talking about iggy azalea, because their was a thing about Tory lanez and her 🚶🏼‍♂️‍➡️

Isaiah Guzman

To me “Worthy” sounds like TGIF by Katy Perry, but overall I gave it an 8-8.5

Joshua Moore

I’m really disappointed with this album… really was expecting Megan to eat but all the sexual shit is just overload at this point and I wish she’d just stick to talking shit and taking shots with her pen. A lot of her lines are mid for me too smh like girl you know you can write better than this… and this album is too long for no reason lol I don’t have the patience for 18 tracks tf

Vanessa Chang

Facts. This is why I like shorter albums....artists tend to trim the fat and just give us the best material when they have less songs

Dee Shanell

Agreed!

Dee Shanell

Yeah that first album cover was slightly disturbing lol

Dee Shanell

Lol I just never heard anyone describe an animal style burger as "cheesy" 😂

Dee Shanell

Lmao

Dee Shanell

From

ADVon

The album did not need to be 18 tracks...what you said about fire bars followed by mid bars could've been fixed if she just condensed the album down to like 13 songs

JC

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 the downstairs dj reaction got me crying😭😭😭 i had the same reaction with that track and the song broke his heart 😭😭😭 too much pussy talk it’s a mess. At first listen i liked the album a lot but because of the beats, listening to it more i only like 4 tracks. The sound of the album is cool but yeah its a lot of pussy talk😂 i like the incorporation of the anime/ japanese influence but it was lacking looking at the full picture. The snake theme is also missing for me… would’ve loved her to do something creative with that theme. Naming this album Megan also made me expect a different approach or a more cohesive theme idk. Like Doja with Scarlett she went with the dark theme and incorporated it really well in the album imo. I’m seeing her in concert on the 10th of July in Amsterdam still excited to have a good time and shake 🍑 for me some of her music is fun and i just think she is not an album girly so i will deal with that😅😭🤷🏾‍♀️

Meli

Megan always have the bars, but her music has been stagnant. No growth in her subject matter, and I appreciate her attempt in changing her flows, but I wish she tried a little harder. It’s an ok album but too many missed opportunities in most tracks.

Nashty Doud

Did She really sample Jeezy and just spoke nonsense about her cooter cat 😭😭

Nashty Doud

I like megan and I wanted to love this album but I just expected more because of the singles. Hiss and cobra are such amazing songs and they were so different from her regular pussy so good music so I just wanted more versatility in the subject matter don't get me wrong there were some personal meanings but I didn't like her delivery on it. Also female rappers now have a problem with making albums that are consistent (I think that's the word?)

Daniel

Personally I'm not really all that bothered with the subject matter because I feel like most artists rap/sing about the same topics. But I can see how it can be annoying. I was a bit disappointed with this album. Most of the choruses were weak and repetitive but I'll give the album a few more listens. I'm so glad Meg changed the album cover because that one with the butterfly wasn't it.

Rainbow

The album as a whole was good. 7.9 ……. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I love Figueroa, rattle, & B.A.S. But Where Them Girls At is so nostalgic. Brings me back to middle school house parties and skating rink. We used to be shaking down on a handstand to Kstylis 😭😭😭😭😂😂 Oh yeah Spin makes me wanna FUQQ something lol 😂 I was definitely DJ’ing downstairs 🤷🏾‍♂️💅🏾

KeepItABuckDummy

Dee is an LA girl down I knew she was gonna criticize that in n out bar 😭

Trey

Omgg really?? When did she said that love and yea I hope so too

Tyy

I was kinda disappointed in this album but ima give it a couple more chances 😭😭 amazing reaction as always 😻🫶🫶

Jose

She said she’s dropping a part 2 to the album so Toxic might be on there

Faith

“Yea this some Japanese shit” DEE 😂😂😂😂😂

Teej

Oh damn, I didn't even consider that she could be dissing Sexyy or Ice Spice. It's definitely possible since they've both worked with Nicki and therefore have some type of allegiance to her

Dee Shanell

I hope so too. There's nothing wrong with her wanting to express her sexuality but making it her entire brand and personality is getting old

Dee Shanell

😂

Dee Shanell

Her freestyles were great. They definitely raised my expectations for this album ngl

Dee Shanell

Yasss hope you had a good gym session! 😊

Dee Shanell

😂

Dee Shanell

album is a 7/10 for me where them girls at spin otaku mamushi miami blue B.A.S are my stand outs …..worthy was so terrible i skipped it as soon i heard her singing ,,,,she really need too expand her subject matter i don’t care if she has too make stuff up for a subject too pull from for a song i just can’t keep hearing about her pussy being wet and ass being fat in every song a bit disappointing coming off from the HISS hype

ra

Yeah the subject matter was very redundant. There needs to be a balance

john briscoe

57:34 HELP this is taking me OUTTT 😭😭

José Moreira

I wanna say it’s a decent body of work, i don’t hate it but I don’t love either. I Would say listen to rattle a couple more times it becomes catchy… especially the part where she says “ain’t got no tea on me, this Ho thinks she TMZ”. Ugh I been playing it out in the gym 😩!!! But overall.. I the love flow switches, versatility, the features and sum of the beats on each song. I kept like 5 songs off this album but I really wish she switched out “down stairs dj” with her song “Toxic” that she played on her instagram live a couple months back because that song sounds way better than whatever the hell that slutty song was 😵‍💫… I’m like GIRL WTF IS THIS??? Had to bleach my ears right after I heard that 😭

Tyy

I agree that being a rapper is a job, and she does this for a profit. You make great points about the replayability of serious songs because compared to songs about sex, they will not chart as well. But comparing her album to other female rapper albums that went number 1, I see they all rapped about something other than sex. For example, Invasion of Privacy raps about cheating; Pink Friday 2 raps about loved ones' death, and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill covers societal issues. I wish she would have added a song or two just rapping about something else because even in Cobra, a very serious song, she's rapping about "this pussy is depressed." I think making songs for profit is amazing, but at the same time, is it because you're only making the same songs for profit or because that's your comfort zone / easiest to do (since her entire discography is sex-related)? I would love for her to get out of her comfort zone and rap about anything other than her pussy, like Pink Friday 2, maybe a relationship, or just anything.

RedWolf

this album was decent. On my initial listen I like 5 songs- including the singles she dropped beforehand. Imo, the chorus’ took up too much of each song and they just got repetitive- and so did the sexual lyrics. I prefer cupcakKe’s new album which is so ironic 😂 Overall, I’d give Meg a solid 5.75/10, didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.

.

Seeing as I like only four songs from this project. I'm not even caping for Megan specifically (which I stated earlier, but I see reading is difficult for some). I just find the argument "[INSERT ARTIST HERE] needs to make music about something else" to be weak and usually unintelligent to be completely honest.

B

Oh, also I love that she mentioned Doja. As a Doja Cat stan that warmed my heart :)

Tae D

In truth, I would give the album a solid 7.5/10. Overall, I enjoy most of the songs on here, but I agree that some of the subject matter could've been better, especially since this is a highly awaited album and her singles are so versatile. I think the album's second half (BOA and up) is 10x times better than the first half. I do enjoy all of those songs and yes even Down Stairs DJ. I think the instrumental and her flow really carry that song for me.

Tae D

I'm confused what Megan was thinking when she added this to the album LMAO

Sharma Sue

Thanks RedWolf, my point exactly. Cupcakke's album is pretty good and she knows how to make interesting songs that cover a variety of different topics to keep listeners entertained. Not reading the novel that B wrote at all but I hope Meg is paying them to cape for her this hard, Jesus Christ 😂 never been that deep

Sharma Sue

It's true that art shouldn't be about sales, but that's not the fantasy world we live in, especially in the context of a major name like Megan Thee Stallion whose goal is to be commercially successful. If she was a more underground artist who put out music for the music, I'd be able to buy into that, but she is mainstream artist whose end goal is putting out music to yield a profit. I'll be clear in saying that songs exclusively about sex have a short shelf-life, but I think it's also important to acknowledge that songs that will be more experimental in terms of subject matter may not have any shelf-life at all. I think it's great that Cupcakke brings up those subject matters, but it goes to my point of are those songs with the more heavy topics like racism, police brutality, suicide, etc. songs you'd want to revisit more than once? Even if they're sonically pleasing and well written, it doesn't do much good if someone can only stomach hearing it so many times because like I mentioned before music is a form of escapism. It's also worth noting that while Cupcakke has some popularity, she isn't a chart topping rapper with a lot of eyes on her, so she is able to put out more music that will push the envelope since it's to be expected that she's not going to bring out a huge commercial smash either way (and I don't mean that as a slight against her, it's just the truth). My issue is that I think people need to come to grips with the fact that these major, mainstreams names are always going to follow a formula because they are striving to attain their level of success and they can only do that by appealing to the general masses who are really only concerned about hearing about certain topics when it comes to music. I'll use Taylor Swift as an example. I don't particularly like her music, but I find the critique that she only/primarily writes about relationships to be a lazy and inane argument since it A) has proven commercially successful for her which is her goal and B) what else besides self-love and vulnerability (both of which she's done songs about) can she write about and be actually believable from her and people want to sit down and hear? Moral of the story: you want variety and range, stop looking for it in the artists who have a residence on the Billboard charts. They're not going to give it to you.

B

my favorites are otaku hot girl, where them girls at, moody girl. the flow she had on some songs was good i just wish the chorus was better (glo should’ve had the chorus on accent), paper together was cool i really loved her flow on there the chorus is just empty but it wasn’t bad

sym

the album was alright. i feel like she should've had more songs with substance and i feel like some of the chorus's were a little off putting and then some of the things she said. she should’ve had some freestyles on there cuz that’s where her best rapping is (imo). some of her lyrics seemed like she was throwing shots (sexyy red, ice spice, nicki, etc) but i could be reaching

sym

For example, what I think they're referring to is something similar to Cupcakke's album, where she talked about Police Brutality, Body positivity, Racism, Poverty, suicide, Self-Love, Transphobia, etc. While I understand an album is made to sell and that sex sells for female rappers. I think added substance would have been excellent to see since rappers are artists at the end of the day, and art shouldn't only be about sales.

RedWolf

"THEY NEED TO WRITE ABOUT DIFFERENT STUFF!" "Like what?" "IDK THEY JUST NEED TO DO SOMETHING ELSE" Makes perfect sense lol and just proves my point that people beg for different things, but then don't actually know what they want so it's just empty lip service and weak criticism with not much thought behind it. Obviously they have plenty of options to rap about conceptually, but that's part of my issue with that mindset as that people forget that this is a business at the end of the day. Any creative knows that all ideas are not good ideas especially when you're intending to put something out for monetary gain. These musicians still need to make music with the intent to be commercially successful and appealing to the public and realistically, there's very limited options for what these artists can actually talk about and still meet that criteria cause I guarantee these interesting topics that come to your mind (but conveniently can't be directly named) are not things that the general public will want to hear, resonate with, or be moved by. Especially nowadays where we seem to be in the era or relatability where people are obsessed with finding ways to "relate" to different musicians for whatever reason. In today's era, relationships, flexing (money, cars, jewelry, etc.), sex, and vulnerability are what society will latch on to and anything outside of that will be meet with indifference at best or complete disdain at worst.

B

One thing I want to say is that I appreciate the work Megan put into her songs, but it's sad because she is a phenomenal rapper but her constantly talking about sex doesn't help the narrative of how black people & sexual fetishism are intertwined with one another & the stigma that black people are always sexualized, a few tracks would have been fine if she wanted to make some songs sexual but the fact that she dedicated the whole album to that is what the true problem is, I hope that 1 day she eventually can get over this particular hump and start moving away from getting so intense with her sexualizing everything.

Darian Diamond

literally who the fuck finna be bumping in the car to a song about masturbation 😭

s.

I agree. The lack of variety on this album is jarring

Sharma Sue

Asking that is like asking "what about your life can you talk about?" lmao literally anything, that's such a broad question. I can think of 10 interesting things off the top of my head that I could personally convey about MY life if I was an artist, but that will vary person to person. Asking what do we expect them to rap about is a surprisingly dense question imo because they literally have a million options. Rapping about 3 topics on an entire album is just creatively lazy

Sharma Sue

i love megan music down but i prefer it too when she throws a few sexual lines here n there talking her shit, but the whole song ? its like alright girl. i like the clever lines she uses and when she really popping her shit. Her “i think i love her” freestyle is a perfect example of what i want. i been having that freestyle on repeat since it came out !

baby d

This album lacks variety in perspective. It’s like a derivative expression of pop culture cultivated from the Black American (woman) gaze. For me personally this was really bad…yikes

Terrell Jackson

cupacakke album had me DEADDD i love her

Yoxxhio

That's why it was posed as a question cause I'm looking to see what are these "other topics" that they want to hear about. I'm not even just talking about Megan specifically (it's just that it's relevant cause it's a common critique for her), but in her case, she obviously raps about sex and her looks cause that's her brand, but she's also rapped about her mental health, loss of friends/family, her upbringing, etc., so I'd be curious to see what else they want her to really say or delve into.

B

Perfect timing. I needed this to get me through the gym lol. Love your vids!

Antonio

Are you deadass? There are countless things to rap about from life experiences. No one said it had to be "real", "sad" nor "deep", so not sure where you got that from. We're just asking for variety to some degree. Meg pretty much rapped about 3-4 topics this entire album. I'm sure her dense fans with no more than a few brain cells are content with that, but some of us would prefer more variety and to see her evolve as an artist

Sharma Sue

Mr. Squidward

N**** who?😂😂 it definitely sounded like he said that

Aniya Simon

I feel like Megan missed the bar because she doesn’t have a label to stir her in the direction of success and project management under 1501 her song choices were a lot better because of her having a team for her album this is a one woman show she needs to learn how to work on her own. Hopefully this is a growth opportunity & room for improvement

Bray

wow figeroua was hard to get thru

Ok

Personally, I'm not bothered by sexual lyrics (unless they're just utter trash a la Sexxxy Redd) but I am always interested when people complain rappers rapping about the same stuff (confidence, sex, money, etc.) cause be honest...what do you want them to actually rap about? The homeless epidemic in America? The Pythagorean theorem? Pretty much anything "real" is going to come across either disingenuous from these uber rich celebrities aside from a select few or completely forced...especially in 2024. I also don't like artists being vulnerable cause music is about escapism, I'm not tryna sad topics about their personal life or more stressful topics like racism and police brutality more than once.

B

People do say he be tough with women and Megan dont fw Ak so its just a play on words. Listen to how she emphasized the word act when she rapping

lilrickyfrm51

I’m kinda underwhelmed ngl. I only see myself listening to 2 or 3 of these, and wtf even was that downstairs DJ song! 😷

Taesan

Oooh excited to see this reaction. Gonna watch this during my selfcare time tomorrow 🙏🏾💅🏾

Meli

Ehh I think that's a reach lol that wouldn't make sense because Ak never acts tough. He says all the time he's in the "pussy nigga association" and he calls the cops on people 🤣 so calling him a tough guy doesn't apply at all

Sachiii

That DJ Ak diss was nice on Rattle. Where she talking about tough guy act(Ak) Ill give her her credit for that one

lilrickyfrm51

Or a playlist

Kalen Harley

She really needs a creative direction like I like the whole idea of snakes but I wish she did more it feels less like an album and more like a mixtape

Kalen Harley

I'd delete this if I were you, Dee just blocked someone yesterday for telling her Camila dropped lol mentioning Camila has nothing to do with Meg and it looks like a slick way of informing her in hopes she'll react to it. Just saying

Sharma Sue

Angel 💕

Meg know she wrong for that! Lol

Dee Shanell

I couldn't breathe when she reacted to downstairs DJ omgggg. Dee is so funnyy 🤣🤣.

Javier Francisco

Yeahh this album doesn't show much progression at all, if I'm being honest. I like Meg but would love to see her step it up a bit and take her craft a bit more serious

Dee Shanell

yea my main thing about this album was the subject matter was lacking. just rapping about the same shit and at the end he opens up a bit but the songs are still ehh lmao

Jaylen

I’m pretty sure she was talking about Kelsey in Rattle because she went on that podcast and shi 😒 Where them girls is the single for the album, we might be getting a MV within the next few fews! She said no mvs for first 2 weeks. It’s Iconic that she got a Pimp C verse! I love that for her 🥹 She got a song with damn near all the popular RNB girls! We need summer next 😌

Destinycbn

Lol she could've kept that song

Dee Shanell

Right, like girl TMI lol

Dee Shanell

Atrocious! Lol

Dee Shanell

She wrote a letter to lessen the sentence for Tory Lames because he was producing her album and allegedly dating. So not a diss but supporting Tory is a slight diss.

Nece_92

😂

Dee Shanell

Factsss

Dee Shanell

Yeah I assumed that too but when did Iggy diss her?

Dee Shanell

good to know i’m not the only one who had an issue with the amount of times she was talking sexual, especially into detail. when i listened and got to downstairs dj i was like .. girl im done!! i don’t need to know all that 🤣

aerih

She didnt diss Meg

Kolya Gevorgyan

“Love my 😺 & my 😺 love me..Play with her for a lil while, then fall asleep” girrrl😒

Sen

Worthy would’ve been good opportunity to get Lizzo to slide on, that’s what it mostly reminded me of- and Where them Girls At is definitely my overall favorite !! 😍

Ash

This Album was at least 6/10 Highly disappointing.

Alejandro Morales

Your reaction to the DJ song killed meeee cause that was my reaction DJ French Tip is wild 🫠🫠🫠

Frankie

39:30-42:00 got me crying 😭😭😭😭😭

iiamkvng

the beat selection I thought was good but the lyrics are ass and most of it is bout the pum pum and sex and I hear a rotation of like 2-3 flows a lot of the songs. I liked her flow on that Otaku song tho. the album wasn't bad but it was nothing impressive. if she upgraded her lyrics/hooks I think she could go do a lot better. before her "beef" with nicki she was kinda falling off and then hiss gave her some juice. But there is a reason she was falling off before that and now that the hiss clout dying off we seeing that she not really maturing or progressing as an artist imo

i just decided imma be a casual fan and not expect much. she was the only female rapper I really kept up with and I was interested in this album even more bc she made it seem like she was “evolving” but tbh she seems stagnant. while the production is getting better some songs became repetitive. there’s only so much “ ‘my pussy wet/tight’ AH👅 ‘you can’t suck dick like I can’ YEAH👅’ ” one can take before they get bored of the material and I don’t see her getting better bc her online fanbase kept whining how people just wanted her to diss nicki or we need to just listen again. then she basically said to just listen again too on ig live. she doesn’t have this HUGE fanbase that will stream whatever she put out so she can chart so she has to take constructive criticism to bring more people in but her fans coddle her. I did like some songs like where them girls at, mamushi and boa (which grew on me); but the album overall was very eh

I’ve been waiting for this lol 🙂‍↕️ I love this Album! I love the versatility! The rapping in Japanese gagged tf outta me😭 My favs are definitely Spin, Otaku Hot Girl, Moody Girl, B.A.S, Mamushi, & Rattle! Idk what Yuki was saying but he sliding fr 😭 The album has been doing well and I’m so happy for her 🫶🏾

Destinycbn

I agree with u with the whole sex image in her music. This is actually my problem with a lot of rappers the verses are becoming very sexual and i really wish we can get away from that i'm sick of it 😭

Renzo

Everyone forget Sabrina Carpet time for Thee Hottie 😍

Josh

Why can’t she make rap songs of her freestyles

Kalen Harley

I love this album, and I feel like it is a very strong album. I loved Rattle and Otaku Girls. By the way, she dissed Iggy Azalea. I wish this album had more than dissing opps and rapping about her psst. I would have wanted more variety like Cupcakke provided in her album. It's an amazing album, but it's her worst album in my opinion since all of her albums are very strong.

RedWolf

I was waiting for you to react. I listened to the album yesterday

J AS

The "white bitch" she calling out is Iggy

Nece_92

I didn’t realize it at first but I think that white btch line in Figueroa was about iggy I’ve heard that her and her fans have been accusing Meg of stealing from her so idk (I haven’t finished the vid yet so idk if u mentioned or not)

Saleem Peterson

03:28 I thought she talked about the incident with Nicki (Nicki accused Megan of pressuring her to drink while pregnant, right)? I don't know the timeline of that though.

Izzyarsenio

This album fed me as an anime fan, Meghan did us right🩵🩵also Dee for otaku girl, the beginning was a very famous anime VA saying it which made it very cool to hear as an anime fan.

Jessy

The white btch line was probably about Iggy

Kdtm

Aw damn, I wonder what she said. I know she supported Tory but I didn't know she was taking direct shots at Meg smh

Dee Shanell
