And that sucks, I mean maybe because I'm bi (i usually say gay because gay is the umbrella term for me lol) but I've always had platonic relationships with my female friends. Even my male friends, once we are friends is like that's all there is. Now, if I liked you in the beginning and then we become friends, that's different because I already liked you from jump, but that hasn't happened since high school. But I've had similar instances where girls who I thought were the homie later say they were just trying smash, and that's wild for me. I'm like I aint no damn body wtf. But they usually say it's because my personality is warm and cool and I understand them and listen well etc. I'unno but I can relate, and it does suck to lose someone you thought was a genuine homie because they wanna fuck. It's wild when you NEVER once expressed any kind of romantic or sexual interest. Speaking of, I had two friends who I thought would make a good couple so I hooked them up. Now a few years later the guy who was my best friend at the time comes to me and is like yo we need to talk, my girlfriend says she's in love with you. I'm like wtf!? So she said like she felt like she was in love with me because her feelings for me as a friend just bubbled over, but she was dating my bestfriend and she didn't want to leave him because she knew me and her would never be anything. That shit was wild. Now he mad at me for something I have no control over, and she mad because I'm like yeah you need to figure that out and it's not happening between us. At the time, I didn't realize how draining and exhausting it can be dealing with someone like this. When you're depressed, you don't consider how dumping your problems on other people can affect them. I ended up losing some friendships and even potential romantic relationships. I'm in a much better place mentally thanks to therapy and anti-depressants. I've been working on trying to mend some of those friendships.

2024-05-14 16:04:22 +0000 UTCOh my … I had something similar happen to me with a guy (Frat boy) who I became friends with only wanted to become friends to get in bed with me … Granted, people warned me about him and how he goes about his things but I friend zoned him many times and when we would hang out just the two of us, he would always try his sneaky sh*t to see if that would turn me on or whatever and it’s like “Bro, I don’t look at you like that, you’re a frat boy with a reputation and you got too much drama.” Mind you, he himself told me one time “I’m just one of those crazy white frat boys who just sleeps around and doesn’t care for relationships or maintaining bonds” so I’m like okay good for you … He would get drunk at parties and still try to hook up and for me, I don’t drink anymore for several reasons so to say if my inhibitions would be low and I’ll no f**k out of here 😂 … the minute people try to hook up with you when you’re drunk, that’s the sign to leave the party … But anyways yeah, I still see him from time to time because we got the same college circle but damm, he do too much … He’s attractive I’ll give him that but he’s a frat f**kboy and I’m not bout to chill with that … But yeah, I’ve lost hope on getting friends especially given how this gay culture is, tried to be friends with too many people only to find out from other people that they’re trying to f*** or they’ll just out themselves few weeks into being friends … All if not most of the guy friends I have are straight and I wish I would have more gay friends but seems like some people want to hook up and then be friends after hooking up or they dip … But for the vacation thing Dee, I don’t think it’s weird to have someone third wheel (male or female) how I look it is that you gotta be real up front if you want the person to come … If the person comes and you feel uncomfortable well chile that’s on them 😂 … ain’t nobody forcing you to be there and they could’ve said no … I said two years ago to a guy I was dating who felt uncomfortable that my friend at the time came on the trip and I just said to him “I asked you several times if it was cool and you said yes” and he had the nerve to say “Yeah but you should’ve known how I felt” and for me that’s just childish … How the f*** am I supposed to know how you feel 😂 you gotta get that sh*t off your chest and communicate it to me … Write a letter, say it, do some sign language, translate it, I don’t care, you gotta find a way to communicate that you feel uncomfortable cause I can’t read minds … That’s the problem with people, they expect you to know how they’ll feel and that will forever be wild for me … P.S. I think Dee gotta take another vacation because of this rap beef 😂 it’s drained all of us … I got my Wireless festival to go to in July by myself so if you going there, let me know or if anyone is … 🥂… 🫶🏽…
