Edwardian Corset & Chemise

Here is a cute little chemise with a corset over it, based on Edwardian advertisement.
Though combinations were the popular choice for the young, the chemise was not wholly forgot. Putting the chemise as the lowest layer was a great option for extra fluff at the hips and for modesty, and made for a very pretty picture with your corset. The drawers would come on top of this ensemble and can be seen in many pictures of the era.

While working on my 1880s set, I realised it wouldn't be done timely enough, so I needed something else to release in the meantime. This Sunday, this little chemise and corset will therefore come out!

As a lover of Edwardian lingerie, I have wanted to make a corset for a very long time, and I finally felt like it was within my abilities ❤

Of course, anything you see in the photo is only a stage in the process.

Edwardian Day Dress and Stockings

Apologies for the delayed upload! It's been very busy over the holiday, but I wanted to share with you another bit of Edwardian beauty for Christmas ❤

This dress is heavily based on an extant gown, and the stockings with a silk garter have been studied from many illustrations and photographs, and come in an array of colours.

🌷NOTICE🌷

Hello! Per my last poll, I will be separating my 1880s dress, which means I will need more time to work on it, especially since the remainder of the year will be a busy time with family and friends. I will try to get an Edwardian dress I have been working on for some time out this week, so you aren't left with nothing ❤

🌼 Help me decide! 🌼

So I am currently working on a mid-1880s dress, and it is taking me a bit longer than expected with the holiday season and figuring out the difficult shape. I am unsure if I will be able to get it out by Sunday, my dears 😓

My question is, would you prefer that I separate the top from the skirt and make more options as I did with my 1860s set, or have everything as one dress like my 1890s set? It will take me even longer to make it separate, but it will yield more customization.

🌷 Bonus content? 🌷

Hello! I sometimes make content that doesn't fit as official Sunday drops, but might still be to your liking. This is usually more modern and less intricate than my regular posts, but still with a vintage flair.

Bonus content would appear occasionally, as I only make it whenever I feel like it, and it would not replace historical posts. Would you be interested in this? Should it be a benefit to your tiers or released publicly at once? ❤

Edwardian Dressing Gown

On my continuous journey to bridge gaps in historical Sims 4 cc, I have dedicated much of it to lingerie, which I love making! So to keep expanding the boudoir, here is a silk dressing gown based on an antique.

Early 1890s Summer Set

I have gotten a few requests for 1890s gowns, and I decided to make a small set based on the early parts of the decade, suitable for warmer seasons. The silhouette during this time is very interesting, as the sleeves are just starting to grow into leg-of-mutton, and the skirts still have a small and defined bump left from the 80s.

Good evening, patrons ❤

I decided to add a large, brimmed hat trimmed with plumes, ribbons, and flowers to the 1890s set I am working on. It will be compatible with my late Victorian hairstyles, as demonstrated in the above image.

I hope you'll like it!

Hello my dears! Here is a little preview of what I'm currently working on -- a pair of early 1890s dresses! What do you think? ❤

I've taken some creative liberties, as well as inspiration from other sources, but the core ideas come from this fashion plate:

1865 Collection

I'm so glad to finally be able to get this small 1865 collection out. It was tricky figuring out the meshes since they don't resemble anything base game. I might add overlays later down the line, but I wanted to get this out first as overlays take time.

1865 is my favorite year of the 60s, and I especially adore the corselette gowns of that year. To make this more versatile for different styles, I split what was meant to be only two dresses into two skirts, two daytime blouses, and two ...

1900-1910 Princess Slip

I absolutely adore everything early 1900s, and now that I finally learned how to create a transparent mesh (which is annoyingly easy considering all the tutorials are so complicated...) I am more empowered than ever to emulate the lacy airiness of such garments.

This took me way longer than I expected, as I changed my mind a lot during the process, but I finally landed on something I was happy with.

Hello!
Now that I’m settling into my new routine, I’ve been thinking about how to manage things going forward. One thing I’ve been considering, is adding a new Patreon tier with some extra benefits such as early access, previews, priority requests, voting power, and maybe a shared Pinterest board.

I haven’t decided on anything yet, which is why I’m posting this on both Tumblr and Patreon. I’d love to hear your thoughts. What kinds of benefits would you like, what price wo...

Late Victorian Hairstyles

This was originally intended to be a set of only two hairstyles, but as I discovered more and more that I thought was missing from the Sims, it ended up being a full collection of 14 items. These are based on hairstyles from about 1870-1890 and should work alright for each decade. It's far from perfect, but I think it's still a useful set ❤

Victorian Cameo Necklace

I adore so much of the CAS that came with Life and Death, but most of it had really limiting colors. I decided to recolor the cameo necklace to be more versatile and made it BGC, meaning you do not need to have the Life and Death Expansion to use this necklace!

1870s Dinner Dress

I'm so excited to be sharing this dress with you all ❤

I scrolled through Pinterest and found a beautiful dress from the 1870s that I wanted to use as inspiration. Of course, it had to be a little simplified for the Sims.

🌷 COLOR UPDATE 🌷

I've been slowly trying to expand my color palette to include more variations between shades and deeper, darker colors. I’ve settled on a palette that contains 32 colors, as shown above.
These will be my regular swatches, although changes may be made. Some items will have double or even triple the number of swatches due to different combinations, but these will be the colors used.

I have updated all my CC (excluding shoes) to include these new colors and have corrected minor erro...

Beauty and the Beast - Belle's outfit (UPDATED)

I fell in love with Belle's tea dress from Walter Crane's 1874 illustration of Beauty and the Beast:

At first glance, I mistook it for a 1870s tea gown, but it clearly mixes a multitude of eras together. I admit this is a little bit more fantastical than what I'd usually make! It's making me consider creating more fantasy/fairytale-inspired pieces.

Along with the dress, I also made the shoes...

Vintage Oxfords

Here are a pair of Oxfords with a Louis heel that I've had in my WIP folder for quite a while. I couldn't figure out how to properly smooth the UV mesh, so it remained untouched. But I've finally figured it out!

They are based on Edwardian walking shoes, but styles like this were worn from the 1890s to the 1920s. I've included both monochrome and two-tone colors. I wanted to include a swatch card like last time, but getting good pictures of all the swatches in the same pose was too diff...

🌷 Welcome to La Muguetterie! 🌷

After being frustrated of never finding the right historical Sims 4 clothing for my game, I've decided to try making it on my own. I've dared myself to share it and here I'll be posting my works.

I've been recoloring for years and recently (a week ago 😅) got started with making my own frankenmeshes in Blender. I'm still very much learning, so expect mistakes.

I will mainly be focusing on mid 1800s to early 1900s, but I might deviate a bit if inspiration strikes, or there's dema...
