2021-11-09 14:24:29 +0000 UTCI was thinking the exact same thing as what you said at the end. 99% of kpop videos and performances are just a shitty rip off of black culture and it’s so ironic because they don’t have any black dancers or creatives in their videos because they are simply not surrounded by black people in the first place, so why rip them off?

2021-10-11 15:52:20 +0000 UTCokay now that i’ve watched it i want your opinion this: so obviously lisa had these braids in the video, it’s kind of a similar style she’s done before. and a lot of people were upset with her for cultural appropriating. not even just with the hair, but like you said the song was very reminiscent of what black artists do in america. do you agree that she is? regardless though, a fan talked to her about it and she apologized bc she said she didn’t realize 👀
