PHOENIXES v14 status report #4

Hi everyone, this is Agang,

I have completed all the content that needed rewriting and have passed the internal review. Now we’ll just do some final proofreading and wait for the Chinese translators to finish their job, which should take a few days.

Over the past few days, I completely rewrote Sorring’s most significant plot in this update and remade all its renders. As you can see, her erotic scenes in this plot will have a style different from all previous scenes in the game.

In addition, during these days, I’ve also been continuously improving the erotic scenes for other characters in this update, such as adding more animated scenes. v14 will have approximately 45 new animated scenes. For comparison, v13 had 32, and v12 had 19.

I’m sorry for keeping everyone waiting. My goal is always to ensure that each update surpasses the previous one in terms of content volume and quality. However, this ambition makes our work increasingly challenging and more prone to making mistakes. For example, if I had aimed for v14 to only have the same content volume as v9 or v10, I definitely wouldn’t have messed up Sorring’s new plots, as I would have had enough time to carefully consider the best direction for her story, rather than needing others to point it out for me.

And I have to say, this mistake also made me realize that I’m truly not a capable writer. Over the past few years, I’ve worked incredibly hard to improve my writing skills, and I hope you can see my efforts. But writing is still such a significant challenge for me. I have to take a long time to write something that meets a decent standard.

Our next project after PHOENIXES will definitely not be as writing-heavy as PHOENIXES. Instead, we’ll focus on creating fun, immersive mechanics to deliver an enjoyable and erotic experience for you.
