I apologize for not being able to respond to people’s messages in time. I’ve been fully engrossed in v5 these days because I want to make sure we can deliver the update to you within the 8-week update cycle.

PHOENIXES v5 will be out for $5 patrons in 7-10 days if everything goes well.

A major reason for our shortage of time is that I have redesigned Kemuri (the swordswoman)’s character and rewritten her new plots. My original plan was to make her another strong, reliable, unsmiling cool girl with the maturity of 25-30 years old. But I soon realized that such a character seemed to seriously overlap with Cassy. If you go back to the scene in v1 in which Kemuri and Cassy showed up together during the Alnilam crisis, it’ll be easy to notice how similar they are. The way they talk and act, and they all got eyes covered… … damn, they were like twins.

So I decided to redesign Kemuri to make her and Cassy more unique. Luckily, she had only appeared in the game very a few times before, so I could have enough room for the redesign. I wish you’ll like the new her when she is formally introduced in v5.
