Hopefully somebody recommends one of her rap songs. Jessi is dope af frfr. But yeah she started off as a singer and started rapping much later in her career. Since she’s from NYC and Jersey she’s always had that NY/Jersey swag and attitude and that...doesn’t translate that well in Korea so she is considered more...harsh and blunt and “rude” but she’s really not, she’s just no nonsense lol

In the compilation vids, to those who dont know her,may think she seems messy or 'too strong' of a personality, yet I'm glad dee takes requests and watched vids. Jessi was born in ny ,raised in Jersey, does travel back and forth from America to korea whenever she can for breaks or tours. If u noticed,her style is more 'western' compared to even the kpop songs or funny compilations u saw before. Many came at her for being a foreigner,(korean descent but born in america),many would make jabs at her for her korean and for her flipping between korean and English when talking,many talk about her attitude,her voice and appearance. That's why she became very 'screw that,u come at me,ima talk back' and now ppl see her intimidating but that is how ppl started leaving her alone more,granted she still has haters but many are careful around her cuz they feel intimidated by her. The media does try to portray her as mean and rude or too intimidating tho. And it gets to her cuz I see her acting so sweet to many korean females but she can seem to come off too strong or they are too timid for her and she tries to lessen the tension by joking or saying something casual. She is rather sweet and playful tho,but there are numerous of times she mentions the affect she has on ppl, and while others think wow that's how strong she is, I see it kinda sad at times. She has friends but still there has been awkward encounters before lol. Glad u liked the video, and I love her voice too. Its husky. She was a singer but does rap now. She does have a more aggressive side to her tho. Again glad u liked the video. Ur responses are always so simple,openminded and enjoyable. Thank youu😊(my bad for over typing again)😭

While they like to make her look very mean she actually seems really sweet and funny. She has had work done which she openly talks/jokes about on TV, which also throws people off since it's hush hush. I love this song, and the direction for her. She's a great rapper and her singing talent is underrated.
