Unfortunately, this Quirk turned out to be far from ideal, contrary to what one might think at first glance. Instead of allowing Deku to shrink at will — which could’ve been useful for surprise attacks — no, the Quirk made Deku permanently small. He could only return to normal size when actively using his Quirk. Out in public and on the streets, Deku remained Deku — full-sized and even a strong hero. But it was impossible to maintain the Quirk 24/7.
At home, then, Deku needed someone just to help him reach and open a door to any room. Naturally, Eri volunteered to help him.
And so a couple of months passed. Deku was watching TV, sitting on the couch. He didn’t even notice when Eri came to sit next to him. Lately, she had started enjoying teasing him like this. So, Eri casually placed her foot right next to him — so close that Deku ended up right against it. Seeing that, Deku immediately blushed. A pleasant scent from her foot hit him. He stopped watching the TV and tried hard to keep a calm and composed expression.
A mischievous, childlike idea formed in Eri’s mind — to cancel Deku’s Quirk and make him even smaller for a while... much, much smaller
