Follow up A New Dawn (Spoiler alert)

What is this post all about?

It has been a while since the last follow up post. For those of you who are new supporters (Thank you tons!) this is a post where I try and gather your input on the changes. Give you a chance to change the game. If something is annoying or unpleasant please don't hesitate to tell me, even if its not mentioned in the post. Also there might be spoilers in this post if you don't like that please don't read it.

Bugs

Bugs have been the focus for a while and to make the early game more interesting. Instead of the jobs not doing anything for the player I want it to affect the game, make it more interesting each day. Before it felt like its just a simple chore to fill out the gameplay, something that you can skip to get to the scenes. I guess there's not a lot to say about bugs except they need to be fixed for a better experience.

Chaos/order

What do you think about the changes to the jobs? The way they change the town. What do you think about the chaos/order element and do you think it is balanced, in other words. Does chaos come too quick or too slow.

I'm going to add more events based on the level of chaos/order. Both for the jobs but also when Victoria talks to the towns people. At full chaos they might ask her for her prices, as if she is a whore and will trigger one of the whore scenes. The thing is, for order I don't have that much sex scenes, the witch move into town and open a shop but that's it. Still needs more event tied to order. I'm also considering events when she move around in town, event which is only text events and short. For example, someone try to steal silver from her and so on.

Hu-cow

Unlocking the hucow in the human town needs more love. I'm going to change how Victoria is introduced to it, right now it feels a bit weird. I'm also not really sure if the hu-cow dairy in the human town should be ruled by humans or by the monsters? As if they secretly has taken over the town but not fully. Maybe a breeding scene with the humans instead of the breeding scenes with the orc and minotaur. Or maybe this leads to a different scene, the breeding part is cut out and instead the humans ship milk to the monster for protection? Let me know what you think!

Ending

The game now has one true ending, it is missing a few sex scenes but it still ends the game. This doesn't mean I'm not going to fill out the other paths and finish them too in the game, just that it is easier to connect loose paths to the main path now that the ending is fully written.

I want the ending to be dark, a bit melancholic but also tie it to the beginning of the game. I'm not going to write exactly the ending in detail as I think it ruins the entire experience. If you have comments about the ending please try to not spoil too much.

What do you all think about my YouTube channel and my videos. Is it something that you enjoy watching? The devlogs? The playthrough? To me the lets play series helped me find and check bugs in a way I haven't done before. There's a difference between playing through the game quickly and playing through it reading all the scenes. Also it helps with getting a better feeling for the game and the different challenges it has.

For example the dreaming part, seeing the same dream over and over is a bit annoying and should in future updates be changed. I think there should be an ending to each dream sequence and reaching it should trigger something short but also informative that you have reached the end of this path, she can't become more of a BE woman right now or more bimbo and so on.

At last I want to thank you for reading the post, for your engagement and support to the game. I'm going to commit to smaller and more frequent updates. More information on what I'm working on at least once a week. Currently I'm as you should know from my posts working on fixing bugs. But also changed the cursor and the click on screen animation, which is showing where Victoria is heading. I'm writing new scenes that is going to be added to the ending, 16 animations are already done and ready for the game. Please don't hesitate to write anything, short or long and don't feel obligated to write anything! I love reading your suggestions however!
