Personal Project for October
Added 2024-10-06 21:14:09 +0000 UTCOctober is already underway and I want to share with you something I've been working on for fun in the interims between commissions:
I've had a long-running D&D game (going on almost 3.5 years now) - we've hit level 11 ( taking it really slow!) And I'm doing character pieces of all the party members - every 5 levels or so - or after they have a major look update. This is my wife's character, Piper -a druid/ranger - who began life as a magpie that wished to be human, and has been cursed by a hag - and become part Peryton.
I recently did her merged form (the last one in the sequence) and her bird form at the start and combined all the images into one layout to see her over the course of the campaign so far :)
Been working hard on commissionwork - and plan on doing a scanning day this next Friday :)

Absolutely! mechanically - she is a hexblood (from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft) - and for most of the game, that's what she was - there was individual flavor with her apperance with the bird feet and hands - but after a recent breaking of a bargain with the hag that turned her human (and then hexblood after she didn't follow through on the task) that cursed her with the Peryton form. That works as a special wildshape the DM made/balanced to her level - and further affected her apperance in her normal form after we did a quest to break her being -stuck- in peryton form for a few months in game. The wings in her humanoid form are mechanical (the wings of flying item).

2024-10-10 18:16:31 +0000 UTCI find this character very intriguing and I may like to see a sequence featuring her. Though I’m not sure how she works in D&D mechanics. Could you explain what her race is supposed to be and how her class works with her powers?
