October Donation Art: Not-Deer [ Halloween / Body Horror sequence]

HAPPY OCTOBER!

To kick it off - the donation art is coming right at the start of the month!

I had a truly excellent suggestion last month (one that really inspired me) for a donation art subject for October: the Appalachian Not-Deer.

I did some reading up on them (I"d heard of them, but not a lot of depth) and decided to blend the crypid mythos with some of the real life factors that might be contributing to the uptick in Not-Deer spotting. ( IRL the chronic wasting disease is a prion disease in deer that can lead to some horrific side-effects. Prion diseases include mad cow disease - so you know - the possibility to have affect on people is non-zero - and can take a decade or more to show up) - so there's a dose of some real horror for your Spooky Season!

Enjoy a bit of zombie /eldritch/ disease with your transformation horror!
