Sneak Peek: RAW scans for Enthralled Chapter 19, pages 1-14
Added 2024-01-18 00:32:48 +0000 UTCSo this is probably going to be a slimmer month art wise because a BIG chunk of my project for this month is doing the pencils, inks, and flats for all 36 pages of Enthralled chapter 19. That being said, I'm cutting the inked & dialog phase of posting this sequence because the client would rather be surprised with the completed images - but you all don't have to be.
That being said, while I'm not saving .jpg's of the adjusted inks - I thought this might be a neat way to show my process with scanning. These are "Fresh from the scanner bed" images and what they look like before I adjust them (using brightness/contrast, levels, and the dodge tool to get rid of the scanner artifacts and make the inks blacker/page whiter).
As I mentioned in the video - I'm aiming to open commissions mid-april, and will be posting information to my website about details at the end-of-Jan update so ya'll can start planning if you want a slot :)
So in the interim, I'm working at finishing off the last projects on my books - intermixed with getting a bit of a jumpstart on the next few Enthralled chapters since the client prepaid for them.
I'll be scanning the remaining inks after I complete them and can hshare those here as well when I have them finished.
