Out of Surgery; recovering

I wanted to post an update to let you all know I made it through my surgery this morning safely. I had a mass removed from my cervical lymph node that was irregular.
I'm loopy, not feeling amazing, and on pain meds and between this and Thanksgiving, I expect that I'll be actually not working for the better part of the week if not the rest of this week. (which is weiiiird for me, lol!)
I am having the mass biopsied, and should find out hopefully early next week the results. Fingers crossed - doctor said it did not look like a dermoid cyst she had thought it might be from the MRI scans/external examination. I'll keep y'all posted <3

The doctor was really gentle trying to warn that it might scar - but wanting to play it safe with incision location to not nick anything important - and I was like - no seriously, I don't care if it scars- just get it out and if there's ever a decision play it safe.
