Serie is really contradictory. She says she wont honor Flamme and that she would never lead the mage college, but here she is as the leader. She says in this episode that she would never take another human apprentice, but immediately trys to recruite fern. She says she hates flammes flower spell, but has a whole room dedicated to a flower garden. Her convo with frieren is also so enlightening to the type of people they are. Frieren says she beat the demon king because she wasnt alone and that her friends were strong. Serie replies that she was just lucky. and she clearly means it in a way that frieren was the weak link or that it was just a fluke. But when frieren hears her say she was lucky, she thinks of it only as having good, dependable friends by her side.
