Exactly my thoughts. Like how is it fun seeing them react and every 10 minutes not understand whats going on, not remembering the names of characters, not following the story ect. Attack on Titan is already a very complex story. Watching it subbed just makes it that much more complicated. Again, its not their fault, they're new to the world of anime / Japanese media. Its the fault of these elitist & the son that put the channel together

Erwin actually asked Niles the previous episode about whether his family still lives in Wall Rose to predict when the false alarm about wall rose being breached how he will react, will he obey the government or not, also they were able to pick up in the last episode that Erwin prepared the stage (with the false alarm) then let others decide whether to trust the government or not with his life in the line. Erwin also said that humanity will walk a far more dangerous path because the government was more knowledgeable than them about the walls and the titans.
