Those two timelapse have two different ways of me drawing.
I am going to explain about Kiara's timelapse.
I sketch and add color to on sketch, which helps me decide on the color.
After I drew the "refine" line layer, instead of making a new layer for colors I reused the color layer from the previous sketch. I add and fix the colors to make it fit with the "refine" line, all colors in one layer(no split between hair, skin, and towel).
I can "cut paste" to split the body with the background (erase from the first layer but add the second new layer for what is being erased) that is how I fix the white window background so clean.
and that's it. Most of the time I did just fix the colors. It was fast and easy to manage than the other process I usually do.
but if I want to change her hair color from orange to red midway through the process, the art is just doomed. I need to redo the whole hair again. Sure I can do it with 'the color correction tool' but if have a different color or more than two hair colors it is hard to fix.
I need to make sure to choose the best colors/color mix at the beginning.
