Added 2025-04-18 21:45:50 +0000 UTCSo, the initial idea for this was “what would Jean do to make her nudes look unique to her?” The answer was mental illusions, immediately.
BUT you can’t really use those powers through a photo unless you’re directly manipulating the viewer’s mind at the moment of seeing the photo. Heres where the game starts, because if you just plant the changed image in the subject’s mind beforehand, then it kinda stops being a photo, so you gotta wait until they see it but you have to decide if you’re gonna be in reach or not when they do, if you don’t want to be then you’ll have to monitor their minds until the moment they see it.
It’s a kinda cat and mouse game that I think Jean would actually enjoy, that’s why all three faces are smiling at some degree, she can’t help but hide the amusement.
All this to say: this is what Scott sees.
