idk what I would do if I was in Tenma's shoes, my first thought was I wouldn't let it get to that situation in the first place, especially after that Turkish man incident. If that whole previous scenario didn't happen, I would pick the mayor since I do not know what's going on, and after it happened and it was clear that the director is a dipshit, and Becker is incompetent, I would either change that by reporting Becker and pushing to have him replaced or finding a job at a different hospital. But since Tenma's is a bit timid, he was forced into this awful situation again, and if was him at that moment I also would pick the child. I do think Tenma is partially at fault here, ofc he is a victim in all this, but still, he enabled it that long, he should have been more stern in his complaints, and complained about Dr. becker, im sure dr becker is an ok surgeon, not like completely horrible, but still his attitude and performance show that he is complacent /unmotivated to improve or help people, he should bring that up with the director and voice her concerns after what happened to the Turkish man.
