I didn't hear you bring it up, but the way Canute won his mock battle with Wulf really shows the Askeladd still in his veins. Somehow still managing to find a way to win a battle you surely would be expected to lose, by using means other than the sword. I really like how that part of his character is so pronounced, despite the fact he knew Askeladd for about a month. He still had such an effect on him.
