This episode is where I really started to feel sad for Thorfinn because we know exactly how his story ends based on his new alignment. This "Vinland Saga" was created to act as a prequel to an older viking tale by the same names "The Vinland Sagas" which consisted of two stories "The Saga of the Greenlanders" and "The Saga of Erik the Red" which were first written down in the 1200s and was oral tradition prior to that. If you've read those stories you know where his stories go, and if you havent read them.. I mean, there's still war and slaves in the world.
