New anime poll - Step 2-1

This time multiple choice xD So, please VOTE FOR STUFF YOU THINKG MIGHT BE INTERESTING, NOT SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE IT WILL DRAW IN VIEWERS FOR THE CHANNEL! I want good stories, not just the newest trends (if they overlap, that is fine of course, Frieren WAS awesome!) =) If something is not on the poll, I already saw it completely (safe for Cowboy Beebop, which I plan on watching with my brother in law). =)

well in a multi party system that makes sense we got that in local level elections for stuff like city councils "you have 33 votes, you can give up to 3 votes to one person, here's all the people from different parties who participate" though most parties then send a list of 33 people or whatever hte numebr happens to be in that case and most people jsut cross the "one vote to everyone on this parties list" box

Please I hope Death Note wins! Also loved that Witch Hunter Robin made the list, at least I know it will never win a poll but it is so underrated in my opinion. Hope to catch up with your reactions I’m so far behind but still support you and your excellent work. Pröst

I think SWS made it pretty clear at the top of the poll that he wants stories that will intrigue him more, rather than just what will get views! But you're right that he still wants to see what his AUDIENCE and Patreon voters want him to see most, so I suppose it depends how many of them are willing to experience a show they're unfamiliar with with him first...

It's a tough call. Popular shows are "better" for the channel in that more viewers will have seen them and more will want to watch. At the same time more esoteric shows may play into SWS' niche a lot better. I could see taking the results of these polls and then splitting the high scorers into a high viewership and low viewership list and then taking the highest scorers of those to two subsequent polls.

I love the multi-select format too! Only issue-- I wonder if these multi-selections should be separated by genre/category in the future? With SO MANY options, I feel that even though you're asking for the best stories regardless of viewership, you're going to see a natural bias to the most popular ones in the most popular genres (even though many of those ARE good!) just because more people *know* about them, and especially because some of the better written but **heavier and more psychological, adult-oriented, or horror** shows simply haven't been seen by as many people despite their stellar reputations. I feel like most people simply wouldn't KNOW to recommend something like Monster, Paranoia Agent, or Serial Experiments Lain etc because they're more difficult for casual viewers to pick or penetrate (though whether those should actually win is CERTAINLY debatable). You're still looking at some pretty good stories likely to win, though, just highlighting a concern; if you got one of your mods to stratify these separate polls by total sales/popularity/views, you'd have more of an opportunity to sample some REALLY hidden gems.

Yeah, i was like "why is it showing percent and not votes" :D That would be an interesting system, though :)

My appreciation for the repost with multi-select! Imagine if our politicians were voted in this way instead of first past the poll.
