Updates RE: VATmoss
Added 2014-12-27 11:17:42 +0000 UTChi everyone! there's going to be a few changes to UK law in january which basically says, "stop earning money independently" and it's called vatmoss and you can read more about it here: http://freakphone.tumblr.com/post/105621726832/queans-dinobotillustration-if-vatmoss-goes the long and the short is that unless patreon explicitly says that they're going to do something / be okay with this thing, i won't be able to use it any more. or take commissions. or basically make any money at all any more!! so um!!!! (REALLY scary!!) my options were to shut down this page entirely OR to set it to charge 'per picture' and then just not ever make a post that incurs that charge. this preserves the page, pledges, history, etc so there's no input required on you guys' behalf to do anything. the idea is that should patreon ever say "we're going to take care of VATmoss and european creators will be able to use patreon" i'll be able to just switch the page back to how it was and we can keep going with what we were doing when that's, y'know... possible. thank you all for your support this year. you have all greatly improved my quality of life for the past 11 months and i'm ETERNALLY grateful. if any of you are having a bad day and want some art to cheer you up, well, i'm quite literally not allowed to make any more money so just go ahead and ask. really, my uh, my schedule has completely freed up! love you lots, and hopefully this mess gets sorted out (or vatmoss just doesn't go through!!!!) -decker <3
