Added 2024-01-27 22:45:58 +0000 UTCHi there, so I have just recorded Frieren 17-20 and am caught up. =( I will soon start the poll for the next anime. In February, I will change the posting schedule on the channel a bit (probably less content to get some rest with the premieres), but patreon will not be effected.
You will get Frieren asap after release as well as solo leveling. Aot will be as usual, I will also do a short patreon exclusice theory talk about what I expect from s3. Additionally, I want to FINALLY finish Chainsaw man. =)

2024-01-28 14:03:24 +0000 UTCEvangelium is for me the anime that sparked my interest in anime and manga in the year 2000 (now I feel old). Just like Evangelium, there was also the anime movie Akira from 1988, which has inspired and influenced many anime and other media over the years. Maybe even more. Would recommend both if you are interested in the past of anime. Just like JoJo references, there are also Akira and Evangelion references in today's anime from time to time. It's always a great feeling when you can spot them.

2024-01-28 09:40:47 +0000 UTCoh heck yeah more chainsaw man - also, I can only recommend dr. stone, aside from having a great story, aside from basically beign great edutainment you might wanna comment on, it literally has great jokes and plot twist moments that rely on the viewer having some physics background to actually work in the moment while everyone else has to wait for it to make sense so someone with physics knowledge and a tendency to analyze will literally see jokes and plottwist moments that would basically be nonexistend for most reactors evangelion is amazing too - but without spoiling anything - and I guess this information alone isn't much spoiler anymore at this point - its somewaht closeish to aot - evangelion is freaking huge in japan and has slightly influenced lots of things and of course its not the same story but theres a bunch of parallels and inspirations so I would definitely recommend finishing one before starting the other - I would DEFINITELY recommend doing that after aot though, while they'Re very different story you'll still find a lot of surprising little parallels
