Yeah, Kraft seems to be really old. I like that he looks for belief to cope with his long life (at least I understood it like that). =)

SO yeah, I assume we will have the talks with the dead: Frieren/Himmel, Fern/Heiter, Stark/Brother(possibly EIsen), Sein/Gorilla. =) I assume everyone will talk to everyone, but those are the main ones. =)

2024-01-06 15:04:43 +0000 UTCit's unfathomable to think how old Kraft must be and all the things he's seen. We've seen Frieren 1000 years ago and now and she looks barely older. This guy is *visibly* older looking with some wrinkles and such. He may very well be older than IRL recorded human history. Five thousand years old? Ten thousand? Who knows how many times he may have been a legendary hero and then faded into obscurity.

2024-01-05 17:23:58 +0000 UTCMakes sense as also in the real world priest are 'studied' workers of the church who lead a congregation. So in Fantasy they would also study holy magic. And Monks are 'Laymen' that decided to give up their worldy life and to serve god and do good deeds. The cliche of the 'warrior Monk' is also acurate in that way that be it in Europe or Asia many former Warriors/Soldiers/Knights were retiring into monkhood. Or also because monastrys and also temples would scout warriors as security force which would grant the warriors lifeing there monk status

No, I would not be content with it being "the friends you made along the way." At least not at this moment (I have seen 16 episodes). Things can always change based on where the author takes the story.

Priests in Frieren are more similar to clerics from Dungeons and Dragons. Both are religious classes but only priests can use magic
