It’s been a while since things have felt like the Halloweens of past years — but little by little, things are getting better. I really wanted to give you something special today, so even though Isabelle (from Animal Crossing) won the last poll, I wouldn’t have had enough time to finish her for tonight.

Instead, I decided to make Hornet — she ranked high in two polls, and I thought she’d make a great surprise release for Halloween! I kept her clothes simple on purpose; her original outfit was trickier than it looked because of how Koikatsu’s bones work. I tried more complex designs, but in the end, this simpler version looked best and worked the smoothest. I don't feel I could finish but I didn't want to spend too long since she's not an official winner of any polls but if you want me to continue leave a comment! :3

Expressions

Hornet Headmod and Expressions Preview

You can find some utility expressions mainly Mouth Patterns 43-46. There is very little expression for the mouth but I had to have some fun.

Yes, hornets have tongues, which are part of their mouthparts and are used for lapping up liquids like nectar, fruit juices, and other sugar

Headmod

The headmod is super simple. You won't find eyes, eyelines, teeth, etc. enabled but I did make sure to map it so you can use blushes and paint on properly if you use the UV maps correctly:
